This is such a cute presentation, just playing around with your flying kite, dodging these birds and catching those stars. Nothing too complicated, just chilling and enjoying those simpler times with that sweet music. Definitely feels like being a kid again!

That's a spooky game! The whole presentation was well done, it really reflected that fear of the dark and seeing shapes and all around (except this time it was real :'D). The music was unsettling but not too bad, and the little sounds to indicate when new ghosts/monsters were popping was great. The camera may have bit a bit slow at times to move around the bedroom by using the mouse, a faster way to move would have been a cool plus. The bedroom itself was well designed as well. Great job really!

This was such a nice presentation, this is straight projecting you into your kid self playing the game boy and enjoying those old games! The buttons being pushed as well was a nice touch. Nice job!

30 days of survival... not too bad I guess!

Honestly was well done, and the music made it nice to just take the next decision and continue. I had a bit of a hard time figuring out where to click first, that could be an amelioration point. But overall it was well done and there were many different events happening. Great job, a nice throwback to Oregon Trail!

That was super satisfying to see our little ship slowly transforming into a bullet-hell generator, the evolution is quite nice. My main downside would be the music stopping after its first loop, and the fact that enemies don't really follow the player experience curve, making it so that you don't even have to line up with them to clear the wave at the end as they're just aiming forward. Still, it really felt good power smashing through them at the end, so it was satisfying!

A well-thought-out idea about player needs evolution and relevance. I've always been a sucker for entities that are given emotions when they're not supposed to, to see how they would feel in such situations. It's well written and well presented, really good job!

I'm kinda biased because I love fishing mini-games in general, so an entire fishing game? Of course I was in. We're definitely chilling and enjoying those simple and chill times. It of course gets repetitive, but I mean, for a fishing game in a game jam context even, it's kinda what you would expect in any case right? The game is also really pretty. These little dialogs on top of everything was a cute and nice layer as well. Honestly that's a really, really good entry, so good job!

Thank you for your nice comment and for this feedback, I greatly appreciate it! Yes the game has an extremely high difficulty on purpose, especially with a camera angle that was made to be not conventional and not logical for readability on purpose either. I knew it was gonna stop/bother a lot of people, and I even know some people ended up rating full 1 due to this, but this is totally normal and expected. That's not a level of difficulty I would normally use in my games, as I like accessibility, but for this particular experience this is what I wanted for my story through design.

I'm really glad you liked some elements and ended up grinding through it a bit to try to reach the simpler times!

Wow you made it to the end, congratulations on reaching the simpler times! You say that you suck, but you're part of the few who actually made it to the end, so that's huge! Thank you so much for playing my game and for this nice comment :D

I was surprised to see we were ending up switching games after reaching the final waves, that was a cool surprise! These are simple minigames, yet it's pleasing to just go through them, it's just a nice chill time. So that would fit the theme! Good job there :D

This game has a great idea of travelling through different eras to experience stuff! There's a lot of really different stuff happening. That car needing to hit cola though, that reminded me of One Piece somehow xD

The presentation itself was really cool with nice effects, and there was a lot of different mini gameplays until the end. So good job really, it's a cool one, especially for a first jam!

お楽しみに!

Thank you so much for this nice comment and for trying out my game!

This entry is seriously underrated, it's INCREDIBLY good. The physics is an absolute chef kiss, that sling shot is just so satisfying to do. The vibe with the future funk music and the Windows vibe is incredible. There was a great progression in difficulty, with the introduction of the hook, obstacles and all. And replayability is good with the records. Honestly, an absolute banger, and one of my favorite games of the jam.

It's an interesting variation to cooking games, with the additional effect part to be typed on the keyboard while the rest is cooking. I had a hard time figuring out how the game was working at the start (how to get ingredients out for instance, when to apply the effects and such), but the whole presentation is fun, and the way the clients are answering when you fail was actually quite fun.

I wanted to buy a beer for dad and ended up in prison after listening to a concert and watching graves.
What the hell did I just play.

The presentation itself is really good, and that CRT effect is well done! I think turning takes a bit too long to be able to aim to enemies efficiently and aim them, which makes it difficult to dodge enemies or shoot several times. Still, I really like what you did visually, and there's an upgrade system and all, so good job!

A nice lil space shooter, it's working! My only may remark would be that the hit effect is EXTREMELY loud. Aside of that, the game works perfectly, so good job!

It's a great recreation of two classics, but honestly that twist with the dice is really well thought. It adds a dimension of risk-taking just to set your dice correctly to get a bigger score, and it's a really smart game design decision, because it gives a secondary objective to the player in a one-objective setting. Well thought!

I absolutely didn't expect that ragdoll throw mechanic, it came out of nowhere that was fun xD A bit hard to gauge the arrival spot at times, but it's definitely as you present it: simplified to only one mechanic. Definitely in the theme and well executed, good job!

The whole atmosphere and mechanics are well done, it really felt simple going around and jumping on platforms with precision.  That's really great for a first jam! Some possible amelioration points would be having a counter for the amount of poles left to lit, and maybe reducing a bit the sound of the wind effect? But honestly it's a really good entry, so well done!

That GB  presentation is on point, it definitely felt like I was playing on my old GameBoy! The sprites were really cute too and totally reminded me of the old Pokémon games. It's a cute game and chill game, in good respect of the simpler times theme. The simple sound design works well as well, and having the instructions at the start is a nice plus. Maybe the timer is a bit long? Aside of that, really well done!

A simple game fitting the simpler times theme! These cat visuals are cute, and the way the second player scratches the board to play is original. Having a 2-player version as well is a nice plus! Good job on this game!

That blood animation after the rabbits are dead is BRUTAL I didn't expect it xD That peaceful farm vibe sure changed! Good job on that fun aspect!

That was a nice variant to Flappy Bird, and it's way more challenging than it actually looks! That's definitely the kind of game where I would set myself a "but I'm sure I can do one more" goal every game. Great job!

A nice trip through gaming eras! I was surprised to go from the Gameboy to the NES actually time-wise, but that was fun still! Good presentation and good gameplay, good job on your entry :D

Aaaaaaw, your comment is so nice! Thank you so much :D I'm glad you had tons of fun with it! And don't worry about having a hard time with it, it sure was meant to be that way!

I knew what was coming to me. And yet I still got baited.

I knew I was in for something when I saw a toilet and an AMOGUS xD The music was so tense so I was on the edge of my sit for a jumpscare of some sort, thankfully there was nothing of the sort. Great game!

As the game is bloody hard, I really wanted a song that was catchy and motivating you to try and try again. so I'm glad it did have this effect for a lot of players!

Aaaaw thanks a lot for this nice comment and for trying out my game! I'm really glad you found the implementation original :)

Thank you so much for your comment! Yes, the difficulty and the non-traditional view for 3D runners making it harder was by design, so it's totally understandable that it was really difficult. I'm glad you gave it a go still, thanks a lot :D

That's actually because the gameplay changes when you reach this era: you get to an older era of gaming where movement wasn't direct in runners, but you were just changing lanes by pushing your direction button!
Thank you so much for playing my game and for this kind comment :D

Thank you for your comment! Yes the presentation and making things a bit hard to read was by design, but I totally understand the frustration it brings.

I loved this whole presentation. The ride is immersive and definitely felt like something we have lived in our childhood. This GBA section, with seeing the controls being pushed and the cute little game with great music, great spritework, and great sounddesign, was really top-notch as well. It felt like you never wanted this ride to end.
A really good and nostalgic job!

Definitely felt like really retro games where you just had to go around picking stuff, but with a spooky twist. Good job!

I lived for now. Good job on delivering the game, even if little!

Fun mechanic of throwing your ship around and going through all those lasers and all. Good job!

The music drove me in directly, that was fun to have as a background xD Game itself is fun, you definitely want to go around to keep that fire alive. Great entry you three!

I am a Telepo master! The base mechanic is really cool and sure can be extended in otherlevels and mechanics. いいいゲーム、おめでとう!
