This is such a cute presentation, just playing around with your flying kite, dodging these birds and catching those stars. Nothing too complicated, just chilling and enjoying those simpler times with that sweet music. Definitely feels like being a kid again!

That's a spooky game! The whole presentation was well done, it really reflected that fear of the dark and seeing shapes and all around (except this time it was real :'D). The music was unsettling but not too bad, and the little sounds to indicate when new ghosts/monsters were popping was great. The camera may have bit a bit slow at times to move around the bedroom by using the mouse, a faster way to move would have been a cool plus. The bedroom itself was well designed as well. Great job really!
30 days of survival... not too bad I guess!
Honestly was well done, and the music made it nice to just take the next decision and continue. I had a bit of a hard time figuring out where to click first, that could be an amelioration point. But overall it was well done and there were many different events happening. Great job, a nice throwback to Oregon Trail!
That was super satisfying to see our little ship slowly transforming into a bullet-hell generator, the evolution is quite nice. My main downside would be the music stopping after its first loop, and the fact that enemies don't really follow the player experience curve, making it so that you don't even have to line up with them to clear the wave at the end as they're just aiming forward. Still, it really felt good power smashing through them at the end, so it was satisfying!
I'm kinda biased because I love fishing mini-games in general, so an entire fishing game? Of course I was in. We're definitely chilling and enjoying those simple and chill times. It of course gets repetitive, but I mean, for a fishing game in a game jam context even, it's kinda what you would expect in any case right? The game is also really pretty. These little dialogs on top of everything was a cute and nice layer as well. Honestly that's a really, really good entry, so good job!
Thank you for your nice comment and for this feedback, I greatly appreciate it! Yes the game has an extremely high difficulty on purpose, especially with a camera angle that was made to be not conventional and not logical for readability on purpose either. I knew it was gonna stop/bother a lot of people, and I even know some people ended up rating full 1 due to this, but this is totally normal and expected. That's not a level of difficulty I would normally use in my games, as I like accessibility, but for this particular experience this is what I wanted for my story through design.
I'm really glad you liked some elements and ended up grinding through it a bit to try to reach the simpler times!
This game has a great idea of travelling through different eras to experience stuff! There's a lot of really different stuff happening. That car needing to hit cola though, that reminded me of One Piece somehow xD
The presentation itself was really cool with nice effects, and there was a lot of different mini gameplays until the end. So good job really, it's a cool one, especially for a first jam!
This entry is seriously underrated, it's INCREDIBLY good. The physics is an absolute chef kiss, that sling shot is just so satisfying to do. The vibe with the future funk music and the Windows vibe is incredible. There was a great progression in difficulty, with the introduction of the hook, obstacles and all. And replayability is good with the records. Honestly, an absolute banger, and one of my favorite games of the jam.
It's an interesting variation to cooking games, with the additional effect part to be typed on the keyboard while the rest is cooking. I had a hard time figuring out how the game was working at the start (how to get ingredients out for instance, when to apply the effects and such), but the whole presentation is fun, and the way the clients are answering when you fail was actually quite fun.
The presentation itself is really good, and that CRT effect is well done! I think turning takes a bit too long to be able to aim to enemies efficiently and aim them, which makes it difficult to dodge enemies or shoot several times. Still, I really like what you did visually, and there's an upgrade system and all, so good job!
It's a great recreation of two classics, but honestly that twist with the dice is really well thought. It adds a dimension of risk-taking just to set your dice correctly to get a bigger score, and it's a really smart game design decision, because it gives a secondary objective to the player in a one-objective setting. Well thought!
The whole atmosphere and mechanics are well done, it really felt simple going around and jumping on platforms with precision. That's really great for a first jam! Some possible amelioration points would be having a counter for the amount of poles left to lit, and maybe reducing a bit the sound of the wind effect? But honestly it's a really good entry, so well done!
That GB presentation is on point, it definitely felt like I was playing on my old GameBoy! The sprites were really cute too and totally reminded me of the old Pokémon games. It's a cute game and chill game, in good respect of the simpler times theme. The simple sound design works well as well, and having the instructions at the start is a nice plus. Maybe the timer is a bit long? Aside of that, really well done!
I loved this whole presentation. The ride is immersive and definitely felt like something we have lived in our childhood. This GBA section, with seeing the controls being pushed and the cute little game with great music, great spritework, and great sounddesign, was really top-notch as well. It felt like you never wanted this ride to end.
A really good and nostalgic job!
