It was kind of the intent that you'd lose and regain ships throughout, so maybe somewhat also the game :)

We had a couple different styles in playtesting. I liked to use the connections to destroy enemy ships with 3-7 in the fleet, then go into tight V with ships interlaced. One of us preferred getting to the death circle (giant fleet) with the shields in front. It's a bit of a tradeoff since I'd lose a large portion of my fleet if a missile snuck through and my damage was much more focused, but it seemed like they were both viable. Thanks for playing!

Yeah elements of the visuals have come up a bunch, we definitely could have done a better job mitigating some of it. We also made a last minute tweak to increase the spawn rates which I think turned out to be a good call. Thanks for the feedback!

What else could matter :D

Thanks! The visuals are definitely something to try to be more objective about next time, I can see how it would get difficult/annoying to read now that we're out of the testing loop

Good note, I personally got blind to this since I saw it during the iterating so it's something to keep in mind for future projects

New weapons were on the list, we ended up cutting them to polish what we already had. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! We thought about pulling one formation but ultimately left it in, would definitely have simplified the rotation somewhat.

One of my favorites so far from this jam, this is really fun. Awesome use of the theme with an auto battler, I'd definitely play more of this if it were even more fleshed out - great job!

Fun idea to grab character abilities from the level in a stealth game. As below, it was a bit choppy for me in the web version, but it's a really cool project to make in such a short time. The art fits together really well and the scream is a great touch!

Really fun game, the art and music are fantastic and the mechanics make great use of the theme. Unfortunately I had an issue in the web build where the game would freeze for a bit when some enemies were killed, but otherwise I had a great time with it.

Very fun concept with the color matching and upgrade system. Once the SFX are fixed I think it'll feel even better to play.

The flight mechanic of tilting/moving sideways to increase maneuverability felt good, and the low poly office aesthetic works well for this. Would love to see some kind of warning/player damage before throwing you back to the main menu, and the music volume is pretty low.

Really awesome game, reminds me of the pain of dial up in a good way :)

I'd really like a fast forward button, but otherwise a super fun puzzle game

Hilarious idea, really good job. I did eventually decide "whatever I'll risk trying to get a job" which is probably intended.

Really great use of the theme for the puzzle mechanic and story.  The music and art also worked really well for the game.  Awesome job!
