MicroManager is a game where you manage a few adventurers.

You have to manage the time they spend in quests, looting, getting experience or resting.

You have to ensure they are properly equipped and try to obtain good quests.

You can also train each adventurer skill, like attack, defend or loot.

Each task takes time in order to be completed. Some may require equipment (like farming or mining equipment) or certain amount of minimal stamina.

Each adventurer has the following stats:

  • Stamina: This is the main stat. Doing tasks takes stamina. An adventurer without enough stamina could not start a task, or it could abandon it
  • Health: During battle this indicates if the adventurer can continue fighting or abandons the task. Having low health affects the stamina restoration

There are different areas:

  • The outskirts were the adventurers can battle creatures or travel to other areas or towns
  • The inn were the adventurers can rest. They could use different types of rooms making it better for them to rest
  • The mines were the adventurers can mine ore. The mining skill should be trained by using a minigame
  • The farm were the adventurers can do farming. There should be a minigame for training that skill.
  • The market were the adventurers can trade equipment or loot.

MicroManager community · Created a new topic Transporting

Scheduling tasks should take into account the transport time from Point A to Point B.

Traveling time may be affected by:

  • Transport type
  • Encumbrance
  • Terrain?

The travelling time should be rendered in the schedule whenever it happens

Nice one! i like it!

Kinda sad ending, but i liked it!

Hi! nice game. i know this comment is almost 3 years late :P

But here is some feedback, i use it as a background while working.

Thinks i would like to see:

- Change the window title from "Game MakerStudio" to your title

- Allow to slow the speed. Sometimes there is too fast movement, which gets distracting

- Room 2 is empty

- It would be great to have more of a zoom out of this, with maybe more "houses" so you can see the cluster of houses removing all the trees

And maybe if there is a lot of empty places, you could have a forester to plant the trees...

Nice game though!

Excellent!

I hope you are a great boss at the end of that train!

Good job everyone!!
