"They would just be screaming in the air,' What a joke. Regardless of them having no real choice but to comply they could still stand with affected creators in solidarity and make a public stance denouncing censorship. That would at least show that they care about any of this. But they couldn't even be bothered to do that much. At the end of the day itch is a corporate entity, they don't get to play the woeful victim card. They are responsible for how they've handled this situation and they are going to continue to get dragged for it for a damn long time. Regardless of how preciously you wish to defend them it does not change that.

I'm aware of that. It's that they aren't even trying to argue it or anything. They just rolled over and showed their yellow belly like spineless cowards. For a platform based on independence for creatives I find that entirely unacceptable. If they can't even be assed to at least speak out about being forced to make this decision then how could I possibly still want to support them?
You're right that the situation itself isn't the fault of itch however their utterly pathetic handling of it absolutely is and all the anger and frustration being dumped on them is entirely warranted right now. I personally wont accept anything less than a clear and direct stance against censorship from the company before I even consider ever spending another cent here.
Hey now, some of us are proud smut enjoyers. I made the guy at the Visa call centre take down that my complaint is specifically about their company and Mastercard having no place policing the pornography I choose to pay for and interact with. Even posted about it on my personal social media that has family on it, but then everyone in my life has known I'm a horny perv since I first got a TV in my room as a kid and suddenly had easy access to all the softcore tiddies a youth at the turn of the millennium could possibly desire.
I've been in a bit of a creative slump for a while now and am just looking for some simple yet intriguing design work to get the creative juices flowing again. I'm not looking to be paid since I'm not looking to draw more than a couple things per person that responds to this post but credit for any contributions I make to any projects would be nice.
Basically if you need a couple character portraits or maybe a static monster design or two (maybe more if they aren't super complex requests) then feel free to hit me up. I'll edit the title to resolved once I feel satisfied.
My speciality is monster design and there are very few things that I won't draw, including NSFW. Please feel free to take a look at the two monster sprite asset packs I have available for samples of my pixel art or check out my game (I Didn't Mean to Become a Villain!) for samples of my character portraits and battler sprites.
Hoping some fun art comes from this and that I can help a couple devs out!
Spent just over 2 months now building my first serious project using Time Fantasy as the primary style and I've gotta say while I'm making my edits and developing battlers and portrait sprites to match the walking sprites I feel like a kid playing with a big ol' pile of Lego all over again! Your designs are really charming and the more I play with them the more they get my creative juices flowing lol
Hoping to have some room in the budget to become a patron soon and looking forward to the next release in the series!
Thank you! I really appreciate all of your feedback. I think this time all of the missing files are where they're supposed to be. As for the lockpick puzzles I'm afraid those are probably going to stay a little buggy until the next big update since I still have a lot to learn about complex event systems. I'm really glad you liked everything else enough to stick it out through the bugs and as thanks for your valiant game testing efforts I'll gladly give an NPC a line or two of text if you've got something you'd like one to say? :)
Hi hey hello so this is my first time attempting a game jam and I guess I kind of got on board a little late so I was wondering if it would be fine if I use assets I previously spent about a week and a half animating back around New Years in my submission? The sprites in question are various outdoor elements (plants & a scarecrow) taken from the RPG MMV engine core assets that I animated to have a "blowing in the wind" effect that I'd rather not have to waste what little time I have left in the 22 days remaining to re-animate :p
