This is very cool! I like the way the exploration is done in the mines, being able to move around was fun and the visual depiction is smooth. Solid adventure as well, the blood stone makes for a good magical artifact. Good luck on future development!

Thanks a lot! The codex and jukebox features were additions I really enjoyed adding because it gives the game some features beyond the usual gameplay loop. Plus it also made testing the volume of music easier! Thanks again :)

Thanks for playing!!

Really a unique experience, big props for putting voice acting in. The artwork and sprites were great as well, I loved how the hair would stand up and ruffle as the player fell. Small details like that make this game stand out even if it's not complete. I can look past some of the bugs  because clearly there is a lot of passion here. I would be interested in seeing this game come together more! Great work.

Very cool take on a pong game. My only note really is that there is no reward for the player hitting the ball past the other side of the CPU, it just spawns back in the middle. It's a chill game though, I really liked how the music evolved as the game went on. I could totally see this in an arcade. A two player version would also be fun!

I enjoyed my time with this! I liked how the sections felt unique, like hunting for the code vs the parkour section. I felt that the steam was a little hard to judge when it would go off, but after a few runs I managed to get past it. The timer at the top does give the player a good sense of urgency, very effective use of that mechanic! Overall the experience was smooth, it ran great, had nice visuals, good sound effects, and the enemy/weapon design were awesome! Great work on this :)

Really fun experience, also can confirm the windows version was working for me! I liked the natural progression, getting used to to a mechanic before something else is introduced, so I never felt overwhelmed or lost on what abilities do what. I also thought it was really funny to see the cute little bunny holding a gun. The game has a unique feel due to the comedy, art style, and gameplay. Very enjoyable!

Thanks for playing! Your take on orbits in your game was a lot of fun so I appreciate the feedback! Space games rule :)

Very interesting game concept, I am a little lost on what to do and what the various items do beyond the healing kit. I would be interested to know what is the design intention behind the cat eye and alcohol for instance, because I may not be using them right. The visuals make for a unique take as well.

This was a very cute and fun game! These orbit games have been my favorite type in this jam so far, a lot of thinking about trajectory and how to launch objects at what speeds. This game has a unique take on all of that, and plus I just think the idea of planets going on vacation is funny. The reviews at the end of levels made me laugh, especially after accidentally shooting two planets into each other (oops!). Great work!

This was a chill game, the music and simple loop make for a laid back experience. Simple to get going yet it takes some skill to hit those clean shots. I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing!

This game was so much fun!! I will have to come back to it some more and play it. I love that you included a leaderboard like that, it is something I wanted for my game but didn't have the scope for in this time frame. The story setting up the game is funny. Big Penguin got me a few times, always making me laugh. Great work on this!

The CRT feel is really nice, lends a lot to the overall style of the game. I like the natural sense of progression this game has, it feels like you are actually working towards something and getting better. Great work!

This is a cool idea, having to play the level in looping segments where you use where the player restarts as platforms for new jumps. That is awesome. The visuals and sound was good for what the game is, but I think some of the platforming segments could be refined a bit. Level 2-2 was a little confusing, for instance. But overall I enjoyed playing this, good work!

This was really fun to play, I will for sure be coming back to this again to try out some more of the physics. Seeing orbital physics like that is so cool, this game took that concept and ran with it. The art is very pretty as well. I liked the challenge, some levels actually gave me some difficulty. Great fun!

The art style here is very cool, the use of the 3d area and the 2d sprites was fun. I wasn't able to do much though, as I couldn't jump up to other levels, only fall down, and the enemy wasn't hit by the dots I fired. The art style does stand out though, I see the potential here!

Thank you! The theme was fun! :)

Thanks for playing!!

Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear you played the downloadable version. The key tradeoff when making games with Pygame is that the web browser versions usually can't handle heavy particles or intensive logic. If I had more time I would've just made a JavaScript version, but I am not as confident in writing JS than I am with Python. Thanks again!

Hello, thanks for playing the game! I felt like the individual presses could make it so you have more precise control over your movement and where you would want to go. Since you could gently tap the keys to move to a precise point and stay there if you want.

This was such a fun game to play! The humor was awesome (cream fraiche, the hilarious sphinx dialogue, the crazy demanding chef, the name of the game, etc.) and it all made me laugh a lot. The art style also adds a real charming aspect to the game, the dinosaur design was cute looking and the close ups of the chef and sphinx during dialogue were fun. I would love to see how this game ends, the description of the final level sounds like a lot of fun! Great work, this is something to be proud of making! :)

That is really nice of you to say, thank you very much.

I appreciate that a lot! Thank you for playing, I am glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Thank you so much!!! I will also take note of the small orbs that are fired, I agree that they are a little small.

This is what people are actually doing when they say "I'll be there in 5 minutes." For real though, I really enjoyed the music, sound effects, and the backgrounds. Seeing the map shift and the different icons for hazards was neat.

Thank you very much! :)

Thank you for the feedback! I very much agree about the sound effect for the plane (I made that one myself lol) and the repeating chords. The larger future enemy that shoots the phase laser in space has a circular wind up, which is to signal either to switch back to the past to escape or shoot it before it charges up. There may still be some bugs on that one involved with tracking. The future enemies give more points to scoring and drop powerups (like extra lives) so there is some incentive there if playing for score. Thank you for playing!

For a first game, this is really impressive! The pixel art design is well done and the gameplay loop works great. Thinking about what version of yourself to use is fun and instantly got me involved in the game. I think there is a lot of potential here to go forward if you choose to do that!

Sign me up for Time Rush Vol. 2! Such a cliffhanger ending! This game was hilarious and really enjoyable, great work!

I enjoyed trying this game out. I am not the best at platformers so I got to see a large variety of the rooms in different eras due to me dying a lot. Also, is the "Monkberry Moon Delight" item a reference to the Paul McCartney song? I love that song.

I really like the idea of Pirate ship vs Fighter jet. I felt like the one shot kill to the player made the game a little too difficult once it got to that stage, however. Overall I would say this is a great idea and I would be interested to see what you guys develop next.

Thank you for playing! That would also be a fun idea worth exploring. Maybe a mix-up mode of some kind!

This was so cool, I thought the prose was really well written and the sound effects added so much to the experience. The overall design is also done great. Great work, keep it up! I'm interested to see how it ends up.
