At first this(turn the car mid-air) was a thing but it ended up making it look very unrealistic and weird, i can add it back but very little for a soft turn in mid-air which I wouldn't mind. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the game and thank you for the feedback.

I've played with the shader further in a new project, the issue is that the shader is a post processing so materials have their own material/shader and then the cellshaderis on top of everything which can make it weird and hard to make perfect and with the time we had for the jam I couldn't perfect exactly how i wanted. But in a new project where i made everything of my own and taking this shader into account i've managed to improve it a lot and find a clear artstyle that is alike this one but more beautiful and easier to see in the dark
Sorry for yapping lol, thank you so much for playing and the comment with your opinion! I will keep trying
Hey, I will take that as a big win since trying this kind of graphics(the shader), the car control and the system for different surface types was the thing I was playing around with and wanted to really make it good so thank you for enjoying it. Unfortunately I am not that knowledgeable with creating proper levels like this so couldn't make something good or several levels and got lost in time and trying new things. But regardless of the jam issues, thank you so much for playing it and the feedback!
Thank you so much for trying and the feedback! I just checked and for some reason in the last build when remaking the scene change(with the fade out effect) i ended up making the R key obsolete and not working at all( I even forgot to test it myself after that and that's why the controls on the main menu doesn't show it all, i kinda forgot it at the end), I'm so sorry about it!
Thank you for all the valid points and for playing it, it was very stressing as someone alone to do all of it and then make sure i had a playable game and builds for everything so I will blame it on that for now. But I will update the game further after the jam's ratings ends and I can upload new builds. Thank you again, i really appreciate all of this feedback!! :D
I'm so sorry for the difficulty, due to time constraints I only ended up making one level and extended it slightly just to have a good one level, over 2 small ones. I will definitely improve the game later with more levels so feel free to come back when i update the game and try to play it again. Though the point of the game was to try more shaders/3d games, and the driving controller so I'm happy you liked how it looks!
Hello, thank you for trying out the game, if you did record it, please upload to youtube and send us so we can check out your gameplay and improve further from our plans.
We do plan to update the game with more informations to the player, this was a game made for University and unfortunately we lost some parts that we planned to do, specially the end game cutscene and beginning which will give you a lot of information on the world itself and what's going on.
So thank you for the feedback and we will improve further in the future to make the game playabale. (The UV light is not something you turn on, it's an item you need for something else, in this case to open the end door).
Our view on Timeless was making a PS1 like game that are still popular nowadays. For hints I'm not entirely sure what else to add but we do plan on importing the model we did for the enemies with animations and they will have sound when they move and such, so you will be able to hear around you and understand the distance with the sounds volumes. Thank you for the review and for your time! We will improve it for sure! :D
We actually didn't have 48 hours, we are students at a University and our team got really busy with work to finish and we eneded up maybe working on it for like 2-3 hours maximum on Saturday and Sunday, and there's some extra things done that weren't implemented but we do plan on at least finishing the game to be playable and enjoyable in the next few days(at least implement with the things we did or had in mind and were already decided). We don't mind the bad reviews, I learned and used Events for the first time in this project and the rest of the team also learned more about modeling, shortcuts for blender/maya, etc. So overall we are happy with what we learned by participating, rushing and try something new!! :D So don't feel bad about the review, thank you so much for your time.
