It's 2004. On satellite maps you find buildings in the middle of a swamp. There's nothing about them online, not a single forum thread. So you go there yourself.

Marsh Mechanisms is a slow first-person horror game in the style of the original PlayStation. A Soviet research station, abandoned in 1991. No monsters and no jumpscares — just fog, logbooks the staff left open, a dead phone line with something ticking on it, and a knocking under the bog that gets closer the further you go.
The demo is the beginning of chapter 1:
• an old boardwalk through the fog
• checkpoint KPP-2 with its duty logs and key cabinet
• a fire lookout tower, and what the last observer marked on his map
• a second way through, for those who look around
Free, about 10–15 minutes, Windows. English and Russian.

The full chapter 1 (about an hour) is coming to Steam. This is the first build anyone outside has played, so I'd really appreciate any feedback — where you got lost, what worked, what broke.
Thanks for reading!
