hey guys,

I tried advertising elsewhere, but I couldn't get much traffic, so I'm doing it here.

I'm making an RTS/Sandbox called "Take No Prisoner", and I think a lot of people would LOVE it. the first comes out on the 28th as a prototype of the world gen system. This is an ad for following the game's development. I made a bi-weekly demo release and a weekly dev diary documenting new features for the next update.

A quick summary of Take No Prisoner: It's a mostly realistic RTS/sandbox where you command a division in a war of your own creation, with you picking every aspect of the world on generation (including city placement) and your squad's uniform and individual members. systems I plan in the future include an advanced medical system, troop combat, vehicle combat (including navy and air force), enemy capitulation and a hard mode called "hellfighter" where you have no ammo and less base morale, as well as higher enemy spawn rates.

This game is supposed to be a gateway from regular platformers to rage games, so it makes sense

It's alright. would be good fun with a little more time put into it

Question is in the title, need to know cus I plan on adding text to speech (not AI) to my one for the voice

much aesthetic, very demure

VERY challenging, easy to learn, hard to master. 9/10.

damn, didn't know about that. great game, hope it gets updates post-release!

kinda janky in a fun way. 8.3/10

pretty good, good difficulty curve, fun, great theme usage, solid 8.3/10 overall

i fixed it and also it was insane what it was (it was cus i was messing with collision for an unrelated mechanic)

there's a bug in my game where the player just falls through the floor. IT shouldn't be possible with how i set up the game.

engine: Godot 4.3

i'm using CSG Boxes beacause they are easier than using static bodies for the floor (tried that, think that's where the bug started

I meant go inside the planet as it is a gas giant

some music would be nice and i would love to have been able to fly into the planet but other than that 9/10 amazing. not a 10 cus my complaints are true
