Thank you for playing!!! You have a lot of good points! I think I didn't spend enough time building the tension for the story, plus the endings were pretty abrupt. It was really cool to use for creating my first QTE. The original plan was to make that minigame longer and more detailed. The player was going to need to hit the bar multiple times, each failed attempt gets them dragged closer to the edge of the bed, each success they kick further away. All the while there is a constant slow drag. That ended up being out of scope for me to make within the 72-hour game jam, so it became a very short segment. Despite how the game turned out, I was pleased with the art style and would be interested in updating it to be a better game!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!!! It is my very first game! I used it to basics of Ren'Py. I remember being interested in making one roughly 6-8 years ago, but I never got into the coding until now. The first ending could use some work, but I'm happy that you liked the other two endings! I considered the escape as the true ending while making the game, but in retrospect I think a sequel to the kidnapped ending would be may more fun!
Thank you so much!!! Reading your message has made my day!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the style, how Arthur was presented and the ice-cream mini-game. The minigame is definitely staying as a daily feature so players can save up for in-game choices!
Even if we don't reach the funding goal, I'll definitely be looking at an improved relaunch and potentially updating the demo with day 2 to show more story! Regardless how it goes, I really appreciate the support and encouragement! xx
