Thanks for your comment and sorry for the late reply I've been away.  I'm glad you think its satisfying! and that you gave it a play! I will remove the header image and hopefully that helps, also weirdly Godot has been having screen size issues on these web exports so ill look into that. As for the labels for the upgrades that will come later Ive been fighting with the scroll bar feature so I can have a bunch of upgrades and the text within the upgrades is all jank so In the next update ill be addressing all the issues and adding more upgrades and the crate opening feature.

I do this in my spare time when I can so I'm not sure when that will be but hopefully soon since I'm back home and can resume work. Ty for playing and leaving a comment!

Thanks for playing!!! Those upgrades do go fast but will be extended in the future and descriptions for each upgrade will be added. also stuff coming out of the box is planned👀 so stay tuned!

Thanks for your comment! That is the plan more updates to come when I have the time.

Is this a RUSE a TRICK perhaps 👀

glad you think its ok lol

I see.... I never even thought about that since this menu will be bigger later anywho but ill fix it. Thanks for finding weird stuff lol

the upgrades SHOULD do what they say i've been checking that as i've been going, also glad it feels better they are NOT final still just feel better enough to repost. also interesting.... ill see about the updating

after some toying when uploading new builds when it tries to load the game it gets all weird with whatever the browser is saving so i've disabled saving for now since I don't think it would have worked anyway.

Exactly! I had a build ready to go actually as well lol so its up now sorry if it nuked any progress. Also we all appreciate the feedback!! so good on you for actually saying something most people don't, and if you decide to play some more feel free to let me know about any bugs and how they happened. Thanks for checking the game out.

I'm off to the art cave now :s

yeah this is a prototype, thanks for your comment it is a number go up game with some added features later on that have more than just number go up, the upgrades are painful atm yes they scale very bad i'm actually working on more stuff as we speak so the prices will be nerfed and are not at all final. I may upload that now.

thanks for playing! also weird the screen size is bugged...... It shouldnt be.... lol. also yeah it def has that vibe of those games

thx!

heyyy! thank you! I had VERY limited time so happy I got atleast something out.

GG!

hey its alright, you made something and thats all that matters!

sounds good!!

hello fellow loop game creator, Neat little game also idk how im supposed to scoop more than 1 loop, I do enjoy the eating sound and the radio.

oh well I guess i only had once chance RIP. not the best design lol

cute little game, not much going on but those spikes kill you just for looking at em funny. I got 5 out of the 8 keys because I got softlocked due to the elevator being stuck at the top. and I died and it teleported me below it

it was cool but i had no idea what I was doing and got banned lmao ggs

kinda neat played as greg only did the first room because the game is LOUD also L to attack kinda sucks lol

Beat this game and I really like it!!!!! found some bugs tho.

Bug #1
on level 8 right after you press continue thanks for playing the demo sometimes the enemy spawns on top of you and you insta die always happens on level 8.

Bug #2
if you go back a level and beat the boss it will put you back onto whatever the highest level you've beaten is.

Bug??? #3 getting silver is SLOWW early on even with upgrades and gold is 10x worse even with upgrades.

Bug??? #4 spam clicking kinda defeats the game play of clicking and you can usually always parry its worse with clicking a key.

Bug???? #5 in the screenshots on the itch page it shows your stats on the bottom left idk if that's a debug screenshot you put up but that is not in the game.

none of these super impaired the game play but it was really fun tbh. would have preferred maybe a few more songs since listening to the same one over and over kinda sucks.

Thanks for playing! After this jam I totally just ignored all things game dev lol I was so burnt out but the motivation is returning.

Yeah the end is empty sadly lol but I was hoping for it to be a battle tower against trainers.

this is intended because this is how the older pokemon games function.

I'm glad you liked it!

yeah in the end my motivation hit rock bottom worse than usual at the end of the jam.

Thanks for playing!

yeah lowkey there's only Pengo's ran out of time to add more. also the Tower was SUPPOSED to be a battle tower with a story but i had no time.

This is basically a prototype for a future project just to see how a mon game works etc

thanks dude! I did all the art myself and the programming as well I had 2 great composers do the music!
The game is made in the Godot Engine and coded in GDscript.

Sounds like a neat game your working on goodluck! All of my stuff currently is made for game jams.

glad you like it! I think ive found the reason for the overall crashes after the jam ill probably fix it.

the moment I got in game i was like WOW I agree with some other comments but overall this game is CLEAN and the music goes hard! great work.

glad you like it! I did think about making the hitbox smaller but never actually did it another comment mentioned doing a polygon which next time ill def be seeing if i can make it work properly. if  I had the whole month I would have done more game but sadly I did not I think for what it is it works pretty well.

im glad your liking the idea! I was learning  art on the fly so glad you like it, I dont think ill be doing the super jam I want to experiment with more jams and game styles but who knows.

wow I'm glad you like the art never done it before but spent hours on it! And yeah if I had of started out at the beginning of the month solo and not had the team issue the game would have been larger and Timmy would have swam up and down between more levels. As for the shark ive been hesitant to use the polygon because in a previous jam it caused issues with detecting collision since it thought each part of the poly was its own collision shape perhaps I'll give it another go!!! Awesome that u completed his objective :) thanks for the feedback!

im assuming your playing the web build? I'll look into it tomorrow for sure!

the big one? interesting not 100% sure why that would happen I may have an idea though, thanks for playing and finding it!

figured it would be better to start quiet and have people turn it up i have my audio at 100% and it was a decent volume glad i added the slider since I know everyone has a diff audio setup. Also glad you think its cool! was kinda cool to make on my own!

HUGE thanks for playing

yeah we didn't really plan/have time to fill the spaces with stuff other than the main game play stuff, glad you liked the environments, we had to scale everything up to make the player feel smaller lol I was convinced the player was 2m tall until i checked...... yikes... Thanks for playing our game!! sorry for the late reply.

yeah sorry about that.. I did add some rocks from the inital design to make it easier once you where on the right path but we did redesign the air map and a sacrifice was clearness in path.... after the jam I'M FIXING THIS LEVEL ASAP. Thanks for the review and playing the game!!!

lol just checked your game and its similar! yeah we didnt have time to animate the hand sadly also the no loading screens and freezing upon loading can make it seem like the game is broken when its not, if only we had more time...... lol thanks for the review!!!

are you on Firefox perhaps? because for some reason that browser likes to go full screen no idea why chromium based seems to function better, you could also try full screen then press start and then play windowed. not sure exactly why that happened
