Hello, I'm a pixel artist that decided to create my own version of another pixel art card game but with different mechanics, like merging, gems, meta progression, etc.
I use Claude to code in js, I do generate some fo the pixel art, some of it is just place holders. Ideally I want to redraw all generated sprites myself over time.

HOW TO PLAY:
Drag a weapon card onto an enemy to attack.
Your hero can get hungry, so food is important. Food restores action points, shown as the orange diamonds under the armor slot. If action points run out your hero becomes weak. Drop food card on to the avatar.
To heal drop health potion on the avatar.
Cards in your inventory have durability pips. When a card loses durability, you can merge it with the same card to restore its pips. If the durability drops to 0 the card will dissapear.
Merging also upgrades your cards.
Drop up to 3 gems onto your favorite weapon card to customize it. Yellow gems give Zap, which can reach far enemies. Fire gems create splash damage that can hit multiple enemies, even face-down ones. Poison gems stack poison.
After each run, you can earn a relic depending on how you died. Different deaths can unlock different relics.
One of the main combat mechanics is enemy positioning. The board has melee and ranged enemies mixed together. You cannot hit a ranged enemy if there is a melee enemy in front of it, even if that melee enemy is face down. To reach ranged enemies, you may need a spear, or a weapon upgraded with a yellow Zap gem.
Daggers also have a dual-wield mechanic. Sometimes you do not want to merge your daggers right away, because if you attack with one dagger, another dagger in your inventory will attack too.
