Hey there, I don't want to pressure you in any way, but we are on June 10th, and the update is still not out.
Honestly, I feel like you've been postponing the release date for literally months, and I truly find it ridiculous to keep saying "Soon!" when it's in fact not soon at all. I recommend that you refrain from announcing anything and avoid raising people's hopes for nothing until the new version is entirely (more or less) done and ready to be released. It will be much more honest towards yourself, your community, and it will improve the relationship you are sharing with us in a much healthier way. Also, by doing so, we'll stop wasting our time coming on this page for nothing and stop pressuring you with these comments like mine :)

As you already know, take your time, don't pressure yourself in any way, take care of yourself, but be more honest. Thank youuuu

ALSO, don't be scared of disappointing us in any way, cuz you've already proven yourself, and people like me who very much enjoy what you've made so far don't care about how long it takes. Cuz we know that it will be good no matter what, so yeah, it's ok if it takes time! (but be honest)

Anyway, hope you are doing great, take care, and can't wait for the update!

I'm gonna sound like a damn hater but I'm not trying to be one, game is awesome but the boss fight are unplayable for me. It's a fucking pain in the ass to deal with and I can't go further in the game for that reason. I've tried countless times, but it's still unplayable. Like how many shit do I have to take care at the same time dude ? What is this shit ? 

Angel fight was already pain in the ass but the book fight thing ? Yeah no thank you I'll stop there.  You could've at least make something to make it easier for player like me that doesn't play much video games smh.

Other than that, yeah it's a good game lol

To me, there was too little story and too many sex scenes in 0.7. I understand it’s an adult game, but it has always struck a great balance—at least until now.

I joined the community during the early 0.3 release, and every time Carabdis dropped a new chapter, it felt well-rounded. Each update offered a little bit of everything, with a primary focus on the story. That was what made it so captivating: an engaging narrative with a few well-placed X scenes. Because those scenes were fewer, they felt much more impactful and exciting. Which was not the case for 0.7, they felt bland to me cuz too much.

I play the game mainly for the story, its visual style, the writing, and the characters and their relationships. But it’s not "JUST" about the characters or their relationships for me. That’s why 0.7 left me feeling disappointed—it felt as if Eternum had become just another generic sex game, losing the unique balance that made it stand out. Although it's one of the best-looking game I've ever found and the one that sets the highest bar I've ever seen on here, and I've played a lot so I know what I'm talking about.

But I guess that most players of adult games may be here for the fap rather than the story, so I think I’m in the minority on this. It feels like I’m the only one bothered by the shift so, unlucky me.

Hope it will be better than the 0.7...

I'll be 100% honest this is by far my favorite game I've found on Itch io as a visual novel AND, the only game I'm hyped for the next update.
(I've been playing the game since 0.3)
This is a flawless game and not some brain-dead game with only a bunch of sexual content. I love the universe, the story, how it's written, the humor, etc.
It's really solid.
But I'll be honest, 0.7 was a little bit disappointing. We didn't move an inch in the story because we were already suspecting the truth that we found in this chapter (not gonna say what to avoid any spoilers) and we didn't move much forward regarding our main quest...
Yeah not much changed but only our character that I started to dislike because of how overconfident he was in this chapter (I love the ending for this exact reason).

I felt like this chapter was way more oriented toward improving the relationships between the characters than going further in the story. Which is fine, but it became a bit too sexually oriented I felt. I'm well aware that it's an adult game but until this chapter, it was always well balanced between the story going nuts and the sexual scenes. But here, no moment struck me, it was a bit flat and bland. The sexual scenes are really good but not the story in this one... 

However, the information we got regarding eternum itself in this chapter thanks to William Bardot is really good to have. We'll say that this was the twist from 0.7.

It's the first time that the game disappoints me tho, so hats off again for the incredible work!
Can't wait to see 0.8 :)

Maybe it's done on purpose but when our character falls onto the ground at the end, the sound isn't synced at all with the animation. If it's done on purpose, I feel like it would be better to sync it.

One last thing, I'm a sound designer/mixer/composer and sound editor for both music and films, and even tho you are doing an amazing job, I'd love to help you for free in your adventure :)
