omg seeing the wips from this project, it ended up taking a completely different direction than what i expected and i LOVED IT. the excitement of the visit combined with the vibe of kind of going through the couple motions even though the chemistry isn't really there... i feel like theres also this profound sense of maybe these characters dont really "get" each other shown through small but very clever lines... i feel like deirdre's flaws are obvious because we see so much of her inner dialogue but some things i can think of specifically from kenzie are like, the voice pitch comment, the "dude" thing, the aquarium kiss... it was wonderful to see that both characters have flaws in their own ways. also obviously the GUI is CRACKED and AMAZING, but i also want to shout out the sprite movement, i really enjoyed the added detail of that :D there were so many moments where i just had to stop and go eeeee for a second because of what was happening, especially towards the end. anyways, excellent work jill and pilot this was very much worth the wait :3 !!!

WOOOOWWW THIS TURNED OUT SO AMAZING. I feel like the assets are really expertly used and feel so polished, the little animations for blinking/speaking adds a lovely touch. Also the background squares had a lot of interesting historical work I found fascinating. But mostly, even though the GUI is a bit atypical in how it handles backgrounds, I think that plus the prose was allowing me to picture everything really well nonetheless. That is to say--I enjoyed using my mind to imagine it as I liked :D Also, the prose is SUPER evocative, and I really enjoyed the sort of Feeling it gives you... like I'm nostalgic for a place that I haven't even been anywhere I could compare it to. I think my favorite part were the doll scenes. Especially the ones about Goody Bourdon, and particularly that last one + the ending... well, it feels like everything comes full circle, right? And I'm right there with Lucy being so swept up in Susanna's story that I'm like... we must search ALL THE CAMPS TO FIND THIS STUFF... 10/10 I would watch a miniseries based on this.
thank you so much pilot!! I’m really happy to have been able to participate in your jam—I really didn’t get an idea until after it started and I’m so glad I did cause this was a real challenge for me, but I also learned so much and had so much fun <3 a short and bite-sized view of these characters are exactly what I was aiming for and I’m glad that even if we don’t get to see that much you can get a sense of them and what they’re about!!!
also of course I will immortalize our Fortnite parodies!! I WOULD LIKE A CHUG I WOULD LIKE A JUG—
I really loved this one! It was a fun glimpse into the world of being a maid, and it made me think about if there are clientele out there like this!! I really loved how we get to know a little bit about all the other characters and what their deal is. The visuals and music also were amazing. I loved the opening video and song a lot, especially! I feel like it's sort of rare to see them in the scope of a game jam entry! Overall, it was both entertaining and also I enjoyed the moments where it was more serious, too <3 Good work :D !!
THIS WAS SO GOOD. i feel like the atmosphere was immediately set and i was SUPER immersed in this gorgeous game from beginning to end. every element was stunning, from the story and the pacing, to the art and especially the textures, to the programming and the way the GUI was set up!! and of course, the sound!! i feel like it really helped enhance the horror elements. i almost rarely have physical reactions when reading something but when i tell you how many times my jaw dropped or i had to squint and shrivel up in horror... DAAAMNNN.... a total 10/10!!!!
this one was on my reading list for awhile and im so glad i got to it today! really unique premise and i enjoyed watching all 3 characters interact. the art was super cute and programmed in such a way that it really felt brought to life! the music, of course, also helped in this regard. for sure a memorable vn :3
i really enjoyed this! each story was memorable in its own way, and then the reveal at the end... AND THEN GOING THROUGH IT AGAIN.... wow!! you accomplished so much in such a short period of time, and i loved reading about your influences in the notes section. i totally think you captured the vibes you were aiming for perfectly! :)
AAAUUGHH....... i was so drawn in by the atmosphere the whole time and even tho i vaguely had some dread from the beginning (and was honestly doing my best to ignore the red flags of our pov character), i couldve never imagined how everything culminated in such a wicked disaster. fabulous read, i really enjoyed it and there are so many moments where i was just like totally getting emotional, feeling disgust, feeling crazy amounts of dread, or even experiencing positive emotions while enjoying the punishment bits.... its an emotional rollercoaster. the type of story that reminds me WHY i enjoy toxic yuri at all to begin with. WONDERFUL.
this is AMAZING, i hope SINCERELY that everyone on this page downloads this visual novel because everything about it was stellar. the character designs, their personalities, the conflict they find themselves in... i was drawn in and HOOOOOOKED the whole time. utterly fantastic work, i seriously cannot recommend this ENOUGH.
i really enjoyed this!! there are many entries i love that feel like fairytale's in their own right, but i enjoyed how this one in particular was framed specifically as someone narrating the entire tale. that small shift in perspective was really cool and gives it a unique flavor. also the backgrounds were really nice, i loved the use of patterns. congratulations on your first vn :3 !!
kalve deserves the award for THEE most patient bat girl of all time. i'm glad we get to see her have a supportive community willing to stick up for her at the gym, and cute scenes of her hanging out with sybille. it was such a challenge to read some of avesta's hateful thoughts because i'm reminded that there seriously are insane people like that out there, but the ending scene at the pride parade again really brought everything full circle. congratulations on your first game :) !
this is so creative! it reminds me of games like hypnospace outlaw or who's lila (both of which i LOVE), where you can kind of snoop around in web pages/files and see how to progress further. i was really intrigued by the small bits of world-building, and also i thought the voice logs were a really cool addition! it's really remarkable how fast this was put together :) good job~
ok so you pull me in with an intriguing little story about ani y*ut*be then you get me crying in the second story... BOTH WERE SO GOOD.... i loved the plot of the first one and i feel like we really get to embody the humble weaboo's pov, and then in the second one it's like so poetic and by the end had me screaming, YES, I BELIEVE IN LOVE,,, I BELIEVE IN LOVE, EVEN WITH PAIN!!!
OUUUGHHH LYNNIE the most painful part, is as a bpd-haver (not trying to diagnose her or anything btw just tryna relate), i understand her fear of abandonment + how its just so ingrained even in childhood.... i can feel empathy for her but at the same time, PUT DOWN THE FISH TOY.... LET MEL BREATHE.... GOOD GOD... which btw that scene was written So Well and is probably one of the most original erotic scenarios i've ever read. lowkey i wanted it to happen so i'm glad it did. but yeah, i enjoyed it a lot!! it was tunatastic! <3
THIS WAS SO GOOD.... it sort of felt like reading a comic, i loved how it told the story non-traditionally for a vn, where its all just cgs instead of like sprites. even images with more negative space felt impactful. your understanding of expression and composition is like SOOOOOO HECKING GOOD, and the disturbing parts were sold so well. especially in the dream sequence its like in my mind i could see everything shifting and moving... i was totally hooked from beginning to end!! GAHHH IT WAS JUST SO GOOD, if you look up the definition for psychosexual i think this vn should appear right there <3
