It all stemmed from a couple buds having fun brainstorming jam ideas, this concept was created, and the rest of the game struggled and clawed its way to life. It was an arduous crunch, but we had a great time making it. 

Personally, during planning I thought that leaning into the absurdity and esoteric elements of the concept might create a scary experience, also knew it might just come across as goofy and perplexing, bouncing people off.

We had our references, inspiration, and rough outline but mostly just made it up as we went, hence the confusing execution. Regardless, we made this game to have fun and practice aspects of game dev we wanted to improve on.

It's a hard game, but I've played a lot of it so it's difficult for me to gauge the difficulty.  I think I'll put another health pickup in the leadup to the ball pit to help, If you're able to get out of the pit and progress a bit further there's a morphine that will clear all your debuffs and heal you fully.

Immaculate premise and the presentation! 

I got all three official endings + one secret ending with no art or text lol 

I really enjoyed the writing style in this game! intriguing and entertaining premise kept me hooked as I tried out different options to see how many animals I could end up as!

made me feel like a dumb baby playing with a huge fisher price mixing console! very amusing!

I wasn't able to reach an end state (failure or win) but still had a blast looking at all the shapes and colours and listening to the sound! 

The low res graphics put me at ease, the first door knock ruined my morning (in a good way)

Looks and feels great! I really liked that the rules of the game were explained via posters in world, cool stuff! mmaybe one day I will beat it 😭

Took me a few retries to figure out the ship layout but once it all clicked I had a blast! Probably one of my favourite entries in terms of visuals and sound direction! The monster audio truly unnerved me!
