Thanks for the comment ^^
The next update is almost ready, it should be out this month unless something very unexpected happens.
Indeed. Instead of including the walkthrough in the game files, I uploaded it to itch.io. It's the file Walkthrough.odt. Sorry for not remembering sooner.
As for the game over screen (or lack thereof), I've no idea what happens. When I get back to the game I'll give it a look. Thanks for testing in any case!
Hello, thanks for trying my game ^^
Unless I forgot to include it in the release, there should be an odt file in the game files that explains the solution to escape the stomach.
The lack of the game over screen is weird, however, because I have tested it. I'll have to inquire on the matter. Did you notice it on the online version, or the downloaded version?
Glad you liked it ^^
Winning by depleting the leopard's stamina was not intended to be viable. The reason I highlight this is that I don't remember setting an end-fight condition for when the leopard is at 0 stamina, so if you ever succeed, you'll have to take the empty stamina bar as a victory in and of itself '^^.
I was planning to add this feature along with another (the leopard being able to take various different actions in addition to the standard chase), but this didn't make it into this version.
Incidentally, the escape-room gameplay is what came first. The chase gameplay only came after, as I was thinking of how to translate chase scenes in gameplay, and it just so happened I had a game prototype in the making :p

Thanks for the review and sorry for the late reply!
I feel the same about the lack of animation for eating, it would be cool to have one but I don't know how to do it without breaking the pace (not to mention I'm bad at doing animations). As for your suggestions:
1- I think that would be possible with the right plugin, but there are many technical issues to solve (like on what condition the enemies would despawn, or how to place the enemies on tiles around Yaxi).
2- This is definitely possible, though this action would need to have its own action key. I'll put this on my backlog.
3- Unfortunately that's impossible to do on RPG Maker, not to my knowledge.
The songbird's behaviour is not exactly a bug, more like a known issue I don't know how to deal with. The idea of having a temporary buff that cancels the effect seems good, I'll probably go with that.
Punching your stomach is supposed to be proportionally more efficient the more preys you have eaten, but I don't remember if it was functional in the version I posted back then.
Hello and thanks for commenting!
I don't have a specific date for the next update, but I'm still working on it (notably, I have added a mechanic where Yaxi can drink water to hinder the minions they swallowed). Ideally, I'd like to have a full chapter ready for release.
Also, I've been working on a different game that I just posted on itch.io.
