Real net game. With a few weeks of work could become a mobile game, less text and more visual feedback.

Nice game. It's fun and it's easy to play hard to master. With more time the visuals could be improved it.

Congrats.

Pretty good looking game. I would love to have more apart from the gameboss battle. Maybe the right mouse could block enemy bullets for a certain time. A cooldown for primary and secondary weapon would help the gameplay overall experience.

Congrats.

Cool aesthetic, pitty there is no sound. The controls are not quite smoth as I was expecting but pretty solid game.

Great idea. I really enjoyed it. There is no loop, after killing a few enemies the scenario is empty and the slider in the top is decreasing at very low rate.

(1 edit)

Not recommened. Even if it's for use in a free product such a videogame it is still  illegal and can result in a lawsuit against you.

Not your fault. The bug is due to the visual effect I implemented in the camera which is incompatible with inputs for the UI and at the same time inputs from the player. Idk how to solve it without tearing appart the camera effect. If you run the game and don't touch any button (not even scroll) until the countdown appear, after the messages, (which is when the game starts) you will not encounter the problem anymore.

Someone love particle effects :D

Nice art direction.

Nice art. Idk if there is no content or where to go after dying the first time.

Great game. The pixel art with those animations are great.

Nice concept. The asteroids are kind of difficult to avoid at that speed. Would be cool to be able to hide the left pannel with the instructions.

LOL, It's pretty fun, I wasn't expecting that many type of cats. Maybe the theme is not there but the prerequisite for sure.

I see this in the mobile market for free with ads. You have a lot of space in the left part of the screen. I would recommend to get rid of the button shop and cats and implemented them directly. For the shop, you can add an icon "i" to display more info. And for the cats, maybe simplify and have a clean table. Plus, it would be cool when a cat lose a live, see it or either in the cat's chart or on screen (on screen maybe show the remaining lives).

Congrats for the game.

Great idea. I was struggling with the upgrades shop, some icons are not really giving information about what you are upgrading.

Idk if it's my screen, but the game is too dark. I know it's about a black hole, but too much black for me :D

Let's us know when the web version will be available to play it in the browser.

Nice work. There is a bug when you die inside a wall you kind of stuck yourself. Maybe with a respawn point in the previous room could be avoid it.

Congrats.

Thanks for the comment. I ran out of time because I missmanaged my last hours of work. A good introduction would make the whole experience much better.

Me too and I am the developer so I played a lot of matches during the last 2 days :D . There is something relaxing about seeing the empire growths by it's own. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. I am glad you enjoy it. I was trying to give the player a simple task in order to be able to contemplate the empire growth by it's own. Originally the player would take care of the military and economic branches of the empire, but it was faster to let it to a basic AI than making prompts and introducing to the player  all the mechanics.

Yes, thanks for pointing it out. When I exported the original pixel art I augmented x2. And then, in the engine I augmented other x3. The first augmentation it's ok, but I forgot to readjust the second augmentation in the engine before shipping the game.

I really enjoyed this game. The units when they are idle they jiggle too much. At first I was confused because there is no animation when you grab a unit.

Directly to my collection.

Well done

Really nice game. I felt the jump was too short in general. The upgrade system is super cool.

I don't know what to say :D .  Looks like the first iteration of a ragdoll system. Even without the big ball falling on me was difficult so... I coudn't make it, I had to quit, don't blame me

The autoaim is a good idea to make the controls easier. With an ambient music would be better.

Like the old  times playing in a Nokia phone. The game is solid. The only issue I see it's the art. I also struggle to get assets which are visually coherent among them. In your game the 3 elements: walls, snake and squirrel have different visual style and definition. Having an armonic art style is very challenging in a short game jam unless you invest time in doing all the art by yourself.

Anyway, congrats for the game. I really enjoyed it.

Cool game. I didn't know the logic behind the 5 colors. Very nice implementation of movement platforms.

Wow. How to use the same scenario through the entier game, bravo!

I struggled with the "controls are mess up".

Really really good game. I enjoyed it a lot.

I didn't expected to control a bat with that intro. The collider of the spikes are too big. The echolocation mechanic is awesome and very original.

Congrats.

Finally a roman game!, I was bored with so many games based on ancient Egypt. Congrats for the game.

Very nice game. The camera movement is a little bit odd. Congrats for the result using Miniscript.

For me is not working in browser, it start all black and stay like that forever. Is there a version which I can download?

Good lord, it's super difficult ! . From technical perspective it's solid and the art is great.

Great first Miniscript game. Keep going!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the camera moving to the start position was implemented yesterday for the last test built but it gave me some odd movement bug so I had to remove it.

I ran out of time to include some cool in-game prompts to help the player through. Hopefully, the pace of the game and the difficulty let the player to experiment by himself and try things.

Instead of fixing bugs I am documenting the dev process (I took some screenshoots and videos during development). Because one of the things that helped me a lot was to have a lot of pre-made tools or solutions, which expedited the development a lot.

It's very solid game. Not only the gameplay feels amazing, but also the animations, I want to highligh the death animation and transition to respawn, very very high quality. I was lucky to tested during development and I can feel all the details added.

To be a platform (genre I hate) it's my fav of this gamejam by far.

Congrats.

Really cool game. The difficulity increase is pretty good until the circular saws block a full corridor. Maybe  they could move slower when they are introduced.

Congrats for the game.

I felt the same, specially with the controls. To implement diagonal movement you can normalized the movement to be 1f. Most of the people struggle with diagonal movement in 2d because if it's not normalized (which means force to not be more than 100% pixel movement) it's move at 1.4

Really cool game. I fully understand that it's a little bit off balance due to lack of time. The overall art and sounds are solid. I would recommend to add a sound when you click to give more feedback to the player.
