Thank you for making such a good game <3 Looking forward to 0.9!

I'll be honest, going into this I was a bit hesitant, purely due to the fact that I am an Eternum simp, and have only played AVN's of a similar style and visual. That being said, I'm glad I decided to try this game out, while still incredibly early on, this game has been really damn good so far. The story, while as I said, the game is incredibly early on, is very interesting thus far, and I look forward to see how it develops. The visuals, while as I said before, I was a bit hesitant, are actually really good. The characters are really good as well, they kind of remind me of the sort of designs you'd find in a gacha game, which isn't a bad thing at all, the personalities are all very unique and different from each other as well. The music has also been good, it's not too intrusive, nor too absent. It strikes a pretty good balance, I hate it when in AVN's the music is either way too over the top, or doesn't play at all. The game also has a very, who would've guessed, anime style of humor, which works here. In terms of romance, well it's hard to say this early on, but the NSFW scenes themselves are actually amazing, I was really surprised by their level of quality. I think part of it is made easier with the art style, I think when the designs are more realistic, it's easier for us to tell when something's off, but with an anime style, it's not quite as easy, less chance for uncanny valley if you will. Overall, genuinely a very surprisingly good experience, and I look forward to the next update.

At first I was put off this game due to the drama, but then I remembered people are stupid and decided to try it out myself, to create my own opinion. If you're like me and were put off of trying this game, I'd recommend you give it a try as I did. I am very glad I decided to give it a try. To address the controversy with a reasonable lens, there's a character known as Chika, who is apart of the romanceable cast. Now, this girl is a very emotionally complicated and scarred character, who you eventually learn is a prostitute in order to make money, to pay for her drunk fathers rent. Where the drama comes into play, is that the MC showed Chika care, whereas nobody else does. In order to test this, she offers the MC sex, and try's to coax him into a one night stand. This is not a situation born of romance, or love. It's a character we know to be a prostitute offering her services to the MC for free, as what is effectively a way to prove that he's the same as everyone else. You can accept her proposal, or you can decline it, and actually gain more points with her. And the point where people are upset, is she later is seen outside of a love hotel leaving a client to his car. That's it, now me personally, I have no issue with this as there's no established relationship with this character, and we're told she's a prostitute ahead of time, and it's not like we're seeing her give her services. Anyways, I'd recommend you try it out and make up your own opinion. Now with that out of the way, the game itself. I've enjoyed the story of this game thus far, I appreciate the unique world, as well as the lore and history. The characters are amazing so far, in terms of personality and looks, I think facially they're all quite similar, but that doesn't really bug me, they each have unique aesthetics and are all attractive in different ways, I find the characters in this to be some of the more attractive I've seen in AVN's. Another thing I've enjoyed is the way relationships have developed. I enjoy AVN's as a more slow burn romance, VS what is effectively porn, and I can safely say that this game is the first of those two, which as I said, I prefer. Visually, this game is very very well done, it's incredibly pretty. NSFW scenes are also very well done, despite some clipping with hair at times, the animations are some of the better I've seen, and are consistently high quality. I also just want to say, I fucking love the soundtrack for this game, hearing Dope, Linkin Park, and Drowning Pool in an AVN was not on my bucket list, but I'm glad it was done. The humor in this game is also great, the memes are kind of hit or miss, but they're optional, and I think they're kind of charming. If I could give any criticism, apart from general things, I would personally like to see a notification, like either a heart beat like Eternum, or a color flash like Projekt Passion, as a way to tell if you got good points with a character, often times you'll say something, one choice is good, one bad, and you don't know you fucked up till way later. Also a character gallery, again similar to Eternum, might be nice, but it's not necessary. Overall, fantastic AVN, excited for future updates.

While Realm Invader is still in its very early stages, of what I have played currently, is absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I saw the first disclaimer pop up, I immediately knew this game was going to be hilarious. It's hard to comment too much on the story as it's VERY early in, but I have been enjoying the writing and the world quite a lot thus far. The characters are very well done, the designs and personality, each feels unique. I also enjoy the twists this game has taken on classic fantasy, taking generic fantasy ideas and tropes, and adding some unique aspects to them. Now the most obvious part of this game, that truly sets it apart. This is likely the funniest AVN I've ever played, at bare minimum on par with Eternum. The Developer as a character is the funniest shit I've seen in a minute, the comedy of this game is an absolute joy. The overall quality of this game is also immaculate, the visuals and animations are incredible, this game probably has the best general animations I've seen in an AVN, usually AVN's will have super short animations outside of NSFW content, but this game actually makes the effort to include them in other parts of the game, and I really appreciate that. It's hard to comment too much on romance and such in this game, due to again, it being very early on. But I can say that so far, it hasn't felt like a sex simulator, and has seemed to be more relationship oriented, which I enjoy a lot more. NSFW scenes are also really well done, some of the better I've seen, I only have two real criticisms of this game, the first being the lack of sounds effects during NSFW scenes. The second being both a positive and a negative, the music in this game is incredible, the tracks themselves being the best I've heard in AVN's, but my beef with them, is them being a bit over the top at times, the tracks in this game are better then Eternum for example I'd say, BUT I think the track placement in Eternum is better. I love an epic sax as much as the next guy, but I'm just having a normal conversation and this dude is over here giving it his ALL on that sax. I also think the NSFW scene track choices can sometimes not fit the mood all too well all the time. I think Eternum specifically does that very well. With that being said, this game is super over the top, so the music being over the top doesn't bug me too much. I also enjoy the included lore you can read, reminds me of Projekt Passion, I really enjoy that. And also funnily enough, while the game comments on the MC being boring in design, and essentially breaking the fourth wall on why AVN MC's are usually boring. I actually really like the MC in this game, he feels like his own character, especially his aversion to children, those scenes are the funniest thing ever. Overall, incredible game thus far. Looking forward to new updates

"Or you can accept that when you comment on something you open yourself for criticism. Thats what I do." When did I complain about criticism? Lol, we had a disagreement, I don't agree with your opinion, you don't agree with mine. Anyways, that's the last thing I wanted to comment on, have a nice day. Try and maybe be a little less of an a-hole in the future friend.

And yet you're the one who chose to reply to me. "But in the future please keep in mind that not everyone likes the things you like or thinks the way you do." That was a point I made in what I had just said. "Then keep your preferences to yourself." What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say, lol. Anyways, you like what you like, I like what I like, as long as you acknowledge you're in the minority,  I was honestly surprised to see someone say something negative about Eternum. You don't really see that often.

I find that to be entirely unreasonable, each AVN has its strengths and weaknesses, goals and plans. They each strive to do different things. For example, Divine Dawn and Genex Love, they're both very different styles of games to Eternum. They set out to do completely different things, I don't play AVN's to play an RPG, I don't play them to customize characters. I play them for a good story, and well written attractive characters. That's effectively all I look for. I find Eternum, for what I'm looking for, does that best. Now you may not personally enjoy that as much, and I understand the point behind plot not having many meaningful choices. But how long do you suppose that would take one guy to do? Each update takes around 6 months as you've said, with Caribdis working tirelessly (I find it ridiculous that people judge AVN devs on how long each update takes, I've found some of your comments on that quite distasteful) but I digress on that front. Lets suppose Eternum had choices like that scattered about, that would add so much unnecessary time to the development cycle. The choice in Eternum is limited, yes. But it has to be for the level of quality that it is. Lets say Nova did reset, what needs to happen now? Well every time she shows up, or it's brought up, their now needs to be separate dialogue EVERY time that it's even mentioned, do you realize how ridiculous that would be to manage? Eternum has a good story because of what it does with the borrowed concept, and how it's portrayed, nobody is saying that the concept itself is unique. The worlds within the concept, the places you go, how it's presented, the characters within it. That is what gives Eternum a good story, a twist on a classic. I'm not going to continue this argument further, because I can immediately tell what kind of individual you are, and how that would go. "But then a lot of people ate tide pods too... " do you hear yourself? Do you realize how asinine this sounds? There are people who've played 100's of AVN's, and have done so for years, and they to this day make posts about how Eternum is still the best they've played. How do you rationalize this? Are they stupid for thinking Eternum was the best they've played?

If that's your opinion, that's your opinion. But very few agree with you, I can argue with you as to why I think you're wrong, but I doubt I'd get anywhere. I as well as many others credit Eternum to be the best AVN ever made, and I think it's deserved, curious to find someone who dislikes it.

Absolutely! Looking forward to it :)

Between Humanity, while really just getting started in its story, of what is there currently, is absolutely incredible. To start, the characters are all unique and enjoyable, I like their designs quite a lot, and they all have likeable personalities. As I said before, Between Humanity is just getting started, but I have already been absolutely captured by its story, I adore the build up of the mystery and the pacing. The visuals of this game are top tier, some of the closest I've ever seen to Eternum. The romance of this game has also been nice, different characters have different progressions, some are slow burn, and some are quick. Which I personally like. The music has been very nice and fitting as well, which is something I feel can go overlooked, but it's well done here. The NSFW scenes thus far, have been very good, better then a lot of other AVN's I've seen. The humor of this game is pretty good as well, it's more character banter focused. This game is absolutely up there for AVN's, it's similar to Eternum where it does everything well, and doesn't have any real glaring issues. Just an overall incredible experience thus far, and I look forward to see how it progresses in the future updates, would absolutely recommend it.

How do you really begin to describe the undisputed GOAT of AVN's? I suppose first, as I see it the most important thing. The characters of Eternum are absolutely amazing, each one has their own arc, their own personality, interests, way of speaking, aesthetic. They truly feel alive, allowing you to develop real emotional connections to them. The designs for these characters are also incredible, they're each unique and memorable, my two personal favorites are Alex and Calypso. Now onto the story, I'll admit going into it, I expected a porn game, with poor story telling, mediocre writing, but hey at least it's porn. Well, I couldn't have been farther from the truth, this game is an absolute cinematic joyride. The concept itself isn't particularly unique, but it's MADE unique in the way that it's told, and the concepts it introduces. Eternum as a concept allows for a plethora of different environments and worlds to visit, each with unique styles of dialogue, from a futuristic Cyberpunk city, to witch burning, to "Hogwarts", to space, to the old west. Just to name a few, this game is absolutely jam packed with different places to visit, all with different character arcs. Next would be visuals, Eternum is still the most beautiful AVN I've played, some scenes are almost like paintings, it's absolutely gorgeous. The humor in Eternum is also some of the best i've not only seen in AVN's, but in games period. From the ridiculous references, the the hilarious characters, to the witty banter, it's all truly phenomenal, this game has brought me to tears with some of it's over the top comedy, particularly the Dark Souls references. The romance in Eternum is also my favorite in AVN's, I find it to be the perfect pace, it's not a sex simulator, it's about the characters, you get those scenes after bonding with these characters. The romance in this game is truly personal and intimate, and I appreciate it taking its time. The NSFW scenes in this game are also the best I've seen in AVN's. The last thing i'll bring up, is the music. The music selection in Eternum is second to none, I absolutely adore the tracks chosen, they all fit the environments and interactions taking place. Overall, this game is genuinely something special, a true 10/10, i'm looking forward to 0.9 as we speak. Caribdis, you are an absolute legend, and the undisputed GOAT.

This is the absolute closest AVN in quality to Eternum I've found, the thing that I like most about this game is funnily enough the main character, this is the only AVN I've played where the main character is as interesting as the other characters. Usually the mc in these games is some skinny dude with the same haircut, unless you're Eternum, but in this case, the mc is actually good looking, has a really cool look, and is generally just a likeable character. Which is uncommon for AVN's, usually the main lead is some hornball who can't keep his dick in his pants, where as this character, as well as a result of the way dialogue works in this game, allows you to be a normal guy who doesn't wanna fuck anything with a pair of boobs. You can choose to be kind to the entire cast, without being forced into fucking them, I find a lot of AVN's force you to either be an asshole, and if you don't want to be, now you're being nice, and being nice leads to sex. Thankfully this game doesn't have that problem. The writing is also very well done, the characters are interesting and likeable, all unique. The visuals are also very well done, the style in my opinion isn't quite as pretty as Eternum, but it's damn good, and fits the aesthetic of the game better, which in this case is like a mix of Cyberpunk 2077 and Star Wars, it's really damn cool. A few other things I appreciate is the codex, I absolutely adore the codex and the lore you can acquire in this game, it's really uncommon to see in an AVN, but much appreciated, I read every bit they give me. This also leads me into another strong suit. The world of this game is absolutely amazing, unique lore for everything as I was saying before, the world feels like it has history, with interesting races, factions, the criminal world, all of it. Another thing I appreciate about this game, is the ability to choose your personality in dialogue. With its colored system you can choose to be positive, witty, or aggressive, personally in my run I've been going almost exclusively witty, and it's been a blast. This system with its coloring, also allows you to CHOOSE who you want to be intimate with, personally when I play AVN's I typically only end up finding 1 or 2 characters attractive, and I don't want to see NSFW scenes with characters I don't find attractive. The pink coloring for flirty choices allows you to avoid fucking everything, and pick who you like, while if you don't choose the pink option, you can still be a good friend to characters without taking it further. Now on to one of my favorite things about this game, it's humor, the humor of this game is an absolute joy, probably on par with Eternum, this game is genuinely hilarious, particularly with the ridiculous death scenes you can get. The romance of characters is quite well done, it's not Eternum level, but it's damn good, the pacing is quite good, the NSFW scenes are all good, nothing Eternum level, but they're up there. The music is also very good when it plays, my only real beef with this game is the lack of music at times, as I said, when it plays it's very good, better then most AVN's, but their will be times where the game is just completely silent, which isn't exactly my favorite thing, I usually like a little background music in these games. Other then that, this game is an absolute blast, and I look forward to continuing it. Again, closest AVN to Eternum I've played, absolutely worth the $10 dollars for season 1 and 2, would recommend purchasing, but if you're not ready for the full game, you can play the first 4 (I think) chapters free of charge.

Companion of Darkness is one of my favorite AVN's out there. To start, the characters are very well done, they have unique loveable personalities, especially Gabriel and Noel. The designs are pretty well done, I enjoy Ciarara, Noel, Zero, Metal, and Ren, I find those few to be my favorite, especially Ciarara. Onto the story now, this game has an incredible emotional story, it'll make you laugh, cry, smile, and piss you off, all in the best way possible, the concept for the story on its own is very interesting, and something I myself tend to prefer over a lot of AVN's. The game can be especially brutal and dark, which is again something I really enjoyed. I also really enjoy the romance of this game, it's not a sex simulator, and when it is, it fits the story and the lore. I tend to be adverse to AVN's that are effectively porn, which is something this game is not, and I appreciate that, you get to care about the cast, and learn about them before you start sticking your dick in them, which as I said, I appreciate. The humor of this game is also really good, especially character banter. Another thing I enjoy about this game are the combat scenes, while not always super smooth, I appreciate the effort, and I find it really enjoyable. Some of them are actually really well done as well. The NSFW scenes in this game originally started as well, not great. But as time goes on it slowly gets better, the most recent scene with Ciarara and Amy is actually one of the best animated scenes I've ever seen in an AVN, Berkili whoever did that scene, I would absolutely recommend seeing about trying to get them again, it was incredibly well done. There's only really two things that I have any real criticism with, other then the early NSFW scenes, the music is pretty hit or miss. And the visuals aren't *amazing*, but they work, and can be quite nice at times. Now with all of that said, this AVN is genuinely incredible, and I'd absolutely recommend it.
