Hiya! Short status update here real quick: I'm planning on having everything in the new update done by the end of today, but there were a whole bunch of fixes I need to take care of as well after the last update. Because of this, I may be posting the next update on the 2nd instead of the 1st (Especially since February is shorter than average).

I hope you all are looking forward to it!

yep! sorry, i messed up the jump to the lil "thanks for playing" thing at the end of the routes :x it does currently end right there on the F2P build though

Oops! That's my bad, I forgot to edit those files to jump to the end instead of try to continue. The patreon version continues past that point, "day 11" (July 18th) is the end of the Free-to-play build for now on all routes except Jehu's. So you aren't missing anything!

Not yet! I plan on doing something of a bulk update soon with some Highly Anticipated additions

(For instance: being able to select specific characters at club lilac and re-view their scenes, more characters, and some messy alts)

Those kinds of alts would definitely be very sick! Honestly, the biggest problem for now is that I don't feel like I'm that good at drawing splooge yet :V but we'll see, maybe in the future I'll add some more alts!

To be honest, I'm currently too preoccupied to worry about localizing Sihai's Legacy to other languages (although, Chinese would be my first pick). I'm not sure I could officially and actively support a translation of Sihai. Unofficially, however, if some fan were willing to go out of their way on their own to make a translation of the free to play, itch.io build and post it for Chinese audiences, I wouldn't mind so long as proper credit and references are given due.

He's always been a side character :V He's got relevance ofc (especially in Jehu's route) but he doesn't have the same sort of relevance as, say, Jehu himself

Sorry, Rob's very nice and would surely have an excellent route in any other game, but for the sake of Sihai's overall story it's better that he remain a side character. (There'll be plenty of Rob content though, don't worry!)

To be totally honest, this does have me massively worried, but I think what I'm going to have to do is open up the patron-exclusive discord server to the general public (once I get back on track, of course). That should at least let me better foster growth and such when itch and other places don't work for that

i think itd be pretty cringe if it got deleted for something like that considering there isn't any MC x Richard stuff in the game nor do I have any plans to add it :V

He'll be added eventually, but there's a few more characters I want to get through first! Basically the order I'm putting people in there is based on what route gets updated and who's relevant to that route. For example, next update is Paul (...whenever I finally get to actually write the dang thing), so Toma will be showing up there. After that is Alan's, so Barry will show up!

Since the schedule from there is gonna be a little weird when we're back on track, I imagine the updates after that will have a lot more of the "general" characters. People like Eric, Alex, and Richard that show up in every route.

I'm not sure yet, gotten a bunch of work done on Paul and some ways through Alan, but I've been kept away from working on the art lately :V I'll let y'all know when an update's coming, though!
