Actually, there’s an option to hide the bird temporarily on a page! Just click the bird and press “Hide Bird” in the menu and it’ll disappear until the next page refresh

Try naming your bird after a popular monster-catching game slogan (no punctuation/capitalization) and see what happens…

If you are on desktop, should do! If you mean the Bing app on Android, then unfortunately not.

I was thinking if we got around 10k users I’d put the effort into an iOS and Mac Safari extension! It is a little more complicated than normal because you have to go through the Apple review process, but for now you can also use the userscript version if you’d like!

The ones on this page are just for decoration, but once you install the program feathers will occasionally fall and you can click those!

Looks like I can’t count (or more likely, removed some before publishing the final draft). I’ll add more hats in the next update to make up for this grievous error!

Should be able to!

I believe you should still be able to add it to Firefox on your tablet!

Doesn’t seem like it, sorry! I looked it up and it seems that the browser doesn’t allow extensions.

Should do!

Just refresh the page/app!

Well that’s just adorable

Thank you! And you can only have one bird visible at a time!

Love the LCD look!

That’s a good idea, I should figure out if there’s any way I can make the embed more customizable with the default bird, having everything unlocked by default, etc. Glad you are enjoying your new pet!

Updated the itch.io page and added a background from the following wonderful asset pack: https://free-game-assets.itch.io/free-sky-with-clouds-background-pixel-art-set

Thank you for the heads up! Tracking this on https://github.com/IdreesInc/Pocket-Bird/issues/8 and will update this reply when I determine a fix.

I’ve just added a dozen new birds! They’ll be released whenever the update is approved in the chrome webstore, so stay tuned!

Glad you like it! I’ll keep that in mind, could probably add a setting to change the scale of the bird without much issue.

I’m not sure at the moment, but I can look into fonts that support other languages for a future update. No promises though, the selection of fonts for the Playdate is limited mainly to Latin characters.

Indeed, that seems to be a bug related to certain converters putting carriage returns or something similar at the end of lines. Try an online epub to txt converter instead while I work on fixing this issue.

Hope you enjoy! And while the device could theoretically display Markdown files well enough, it would be challenging to code the streaming processor for that. I’ll leave that up to someone else to implement if they want!
