This is great!

very cool to see this in 3D!

At first, I thought this was a little expensive for a Playdate game. However, after playing it for a while I can say it's worth it - such a brilliantly designed and well-made game!

Thank you! I'll definitely take this advice on board and maybe add a bit more polish too.

This game looks so good on the Playdate! Fantastic work, I hope to see more Crank & Watch games in the future

Quite a similar concept to our jam entry, nice work! I would say the asteroids blend in a bit with the  background too much

Great to see another classic-Asteroids themed jam entry!

Very fun experience, I kept retrying until I got some decent big katamaris which becomes very satisfying

Fun, fast pace, and very responsive and easy-to-understand controls. Great game!

Good to see another game giving the asteroids some power! The powerups are super cool, they could do with appearing more often

This is a   very cool and unique idea!

This is an amazing idea and the level of polish is amazing! When the roles are reversed it becomes much harder to manage the ship which makes a lot of sense if the mechanic would be trying to fly the ship and the captain manually handle coal. Probably my favourite game of the jam so far

Very fun! Needs some more sound effects like squishing sounds and tyre screeches

I laughed so hard when I died and the screaming VO played. Fantastic game!!!

Really nice art and use of lighting! One issue is that when you have a massive clump of fish the light gets too bright and you can no longer see the individual sprites, there might be a way to fix that  though

Smart AI design and a great selection of different tools to stop the hero

Thank you! There are more things that could be added to it in the future like the saucers.

Thank you! Good idea about the leaderboard, that might help give the game more of an objective.

I have no idea how you put all this together in 48 hours!! It's really fun, and a very creative idea. I love using the Gatling guy. It's kind of like a tower defence except the turrets are people that run around - really cool and I can see this being a commercial game with a bit of art and polish.

The apple sprites are amazing lol

Really cool game! I like the post-processing effect too.  A completely different take to my game on using the original Asteroids for inspiration!

Wow that CRT shader looks nice!

Nice! What did you use for the making the sprites?

Very cool concept and well-polished entry!

OLD LIFE DESTROYED

Nice art style and interesting idea

A fun and challenging experience and a good interpretation of the theme!

When I drag the asteroid moves really fast - could it be  tied to framerate?    Cool idea with the changing velocities!

Cool concept and great art!

Visually stunning and the puzzles are fun!  Fantastic work,  the level of polish is excellent.

Nice game, I like the one-button mechanic. The difficulty curve may need some work, as the start of the game is very hard.

Amazing game, with an excellent level of polish! I can tell how much work went into this, and it definitely paid off.

Hi Rob, thank you for checking out our game and for your comments!

The mouse doesn't seem to be locked in the browser version of the game which is causing some control issues - in the meantime please play the downloadable version instead! The main menu button has now been fixed.

Being able to select the same figure multiple times is part of the design - it allows for greater selection variation for each team.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment, have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A good level of challenge and well polished. Great work!

Hahaha nice

A nice storyline and amazing art!

Fantastic! I love how this is a bit like Brick Breaker / Arkanoid combined with a Shmup, great job and congrats on your first game

I love the slow-mo effect

Fantastic work! I love all of the clever vfx you've made!
