Project Title (BloodLoop(not definitive)): Asymmetric Survival Horror Game
We are developing an asymmetrical survival horror game inspired by titles like Dead by Daylight, focused on psychological tension, atmosphere, and unique killer design.
The core gameplay revolves around:
- 1 Killer vs multiple Survivors
- Survivors must cooperate to escape while managing fear, limited resources, and environmental threats
- The Killer is a cursed soul, each with unique mechanics, abilities, and disturbing lore
Our goal is to create a balanced experience between "torment and survival", where both sides feel intense pressure and strategic depth at all times.
The game leans heavily into:
- Dark, oppressive atmospheres (inspired by eerie, mystical environments)
- Stylized but haunting character design
- Original killers (e.g., The Chain Warden: a whistling, chain-wielding tortured entity)
- A strong focus on immersion and emotional tension over cheap jumpscares
Current situation: We are an indie team working under a revshare model (revenue will be shared once the game is released). Unfortunately, we can’t offer upfront payment yet, but we are fully committed to building a serious, scalable project.

I’m looking to build a small indie team for a new asymmetrical survival horror game focused on psychological tension and atmosphere.
This is a rev-share / passion project, as I don’t currently have a budget.
I want to be transparent from the start: there is no upfront payment. The goal is to build something strong together, create a playable prototype, and potentially grow it into a commercial release.
About the game
This is an asymmetrical survival horror experience where one player becomes a “cursed soul” (killer) and the others are “martyrs” (survivors).
The core idea is not just chasing or hiding — but maintaining a constant psychological tension between both sides, where neither feels fully dominant.
The focus is on:
- Deep atmospheric horror
- Psychological pressure over jump scares
- Careful balance between killer and survivors
- Unpredictability and fear through systems, not scripts
Think asymmetrical horror with a stronger psychological identity.
Current goal
Start small with a vertical slice / prototype, then expand if the concept works.
Looking for
- Gameplay programmers (Unity / Unreal / networking is a plus)
- 3D artists (characters + environments)
- Animators
- Sound designers (VERY important for horror atmosphere)
- Anyone passionate about horror game development
- Network Programmers
Beginners are welcome if motivated.
