I’m currently looking for collaborators interested in helping develop ARENTHAL, a story-driven dark fantasy JRPG inspired by classic titles such as:

- Chrono Trigger

- Final Fantasy VI

- Suikoden

- Chained Echoes

- Tales Of series

The project is planned as a 2D pixel art turn-based RPG with strong focus on:

- party dynamics;

- character-driven storytelling;

- worldbuilding;

- exploration;

- skits and optional dialogues;

- emotional and darker themes mixed with adventure.

About the Project

ARENTHAL tells the story of two legendary figures tied to ancient spiritual gems:

The White Paladin and The Black Knight.

The world mixes:

- medieval fantasy;

- early steampunk technology;

- airships;

- cursed relics;

- political conflicts;

- ancient spiritual powers.

The tone alternates between:

- serious dark fantasy moments;

- classic JRPG humor and party chemistry;

- emotional character arcs.

My Role

I’m mainly working on:

- storyboarding;

- worldbuilding;

- dialogue writing;

- lore and character writing;

- narrative structure.

At the moment I’m searching for people passionate about JRPGs who may want to collaborate on:

- programming;

- pixel art;

- animation;

- UI;

- music;

- game design.

Goal

The current goal is to build:

I see now! That's because I used another file that has the same name as the RTP file, I'm updating it now with the file in it.

I've tried to see if there was any problem, but there wasn't. I'll send you a PM with the img files, just tell me your discord name, please. Put them in the sv enemies folder that is under the img folder of the archive.

I don't know 🤔 the tester didn't report me this, I'll try to see what's wrong and fix it.
