Yeah, the default mermaid swims down faster, pink can fill cheeks longer, green gains gold fish from eating sharks, brown has powers last longer

On PC it should be in app data, I'll look into where it is on android

A shark sticks around until it drops an egg, then the next one is a new shark. In shark hunt, it is always the same shark

The fire and Ink will continuously shrink the shark as long as they are in contact yes! For swallowing them, you have to be at least their size or bigger, unless you activate the eel dash or have puffer vacuum active, then you can be a little smaller. You can only swallow them if they are coming at you, unless you use eel dash

they fill you up a ton, just at the cost of no powers. and they remove the size restriction on bigger fish

Also this project wouldn't be anything without AdjectiveNounCombo's art, that's for sure

Thanks so much!!! Yes there is a glitch in passive mode right now I am fixing, and I agree the pink mermaid takes a bit long to get... I may adjust that we will see!

They will digest even when the game is not open

Once they reach the center of the screen by digesting, you can click them and they will move to the right signifying they are selected :) it takes a few days for them to be fed enough, depending on how much you feed them

You can only get them if they are coming straight at you, unless you use the eel dash ability

the trout is a mode that is faster with more fish and shark appearances. the halo is normal mode but without sharks. There are 2 other modes you can unlock, try eating sharks when you are bigger than them to unlock the shark hunt levels :) you can also click/touch the gold fish on the title screen to see the mermaid unlock room

once the fish are cooked they don't give the functions they usually do

I actually removed being shrunk from the squid clones, but I do agree with the ability being detrimental due to the uncertainty. I'll fix that next update. Thanks so much! I'm very proud of this game.

Thank you! And yeah I am going to make the squid clones appear behind the player in the next update. As of last update the squid power gives a bit more swim down acceleration though it is barely noticable.

As for the puffer, I believe the suction does scale with size, I could check. It also gives the same swallow size bonus as eel dash

Eat a shark, try using the abilities to help you. Fire and squid clones shrink them, eel and puffer lets you eat them when slightly smaller

You unlock it by completing all shark hunt levels with at least a minute remaining, then the shark will appear on the title screen to click!
