Five classic card games. One classy raven. Only on Playdate.
Hi there! Hope you're doing well. We've just recently launched our new game on Panic's Playdate console, Carte Blanche: A collection of five classic card games presented by a friendly raven named Blanche. The game features:
- Cribbage
- Gin Rummy
- Spades
- Cassino
- Spite & Malice
Each game includes a guided tutorial—where Blanche will walk you through how to play—and a detailed rulebook if you prefer to read on your own. The games themselves are designed to be friendly to newcomers and experts alike, so if you're the sort of player who likes to dive in and learn as you go: you're all set!
As you play, you'll earn pennies that can be spent on Blanche's Penny Ante machine to win prizes. (Blanche assures me that they're "prizes" and not just things she's found out and about. But then she also asked "What's the difference?", so your mileage may vary.)
