there's music (granted, very soft), but no sound effects sadly. I thought I had time so I didn't team up with a sound designer

there's background music, I think a decent job imo on my own. though like I said before, I did a bad job implementing it into the game. it's way too soft

cute game and the art and music was great. game freezes if you pick up the bottom left gift though. can't say much because it's super small and unfinished

the art and writing was very good. though I can't give it that much because this version practically has no gameplay yet. would wish to play the finished version

game has a great feeling and cozy vibes, but it could have a bit more story and better gameplay, currently it's a bit bland. I love how the cars just stop statically to not hit you. I thought the game froze or mama died for a second

thanks for playing my game. I botched the sounds so the music is extremely soft so the reason might be that the base volume is too low for your speakers. sorry I did it last minute. and I halfly agree on the snowmen, it should offer better protection like a bigger protection box. but the duration should be low to keep the player on their feet and only give enough time to reload

(1 edit)

nice puzzle game but it's just a reskin of picross

oh I didn't mean a reset button. I meant a redo a step button. like I can press it 3 times and it'll reset 3 steps that I did so I won't be afraid of experimenting and risking going back to the beginning

very cozy game and a great execution of the optional theme. movement speed could be faster and the opening could be better optimized like it being loaded at the  start and not at the door. I still had a great time playing through the end

thanks for playing. amazing performance. if only I added a medal system because you'd definitely get an S

amazing art but the gameplay is very lacking. it's a funny contrast really, everything especially the background is super detailed and well drawn and a very cozy artstyle fitting the jam. meanwhile there's layering issues, poor game design on how to play the game, slow pacing, and day 2 being bugged causing it to not continue. still I respect the effort and I gotta say cover art is beautiful.

I like the face they did when you catch a fish

amazing puzzle game. wished they were a redo button like baba is you and many puzzle games so I didn't need to waste my time but I pulled through. not many levels using the ran out of snow mechanic that much, mostly the snowbettle being unmovable but the levels were still unique from each. had a great time and would love if level 19 was playable

love the writing of the game. makes me shovel faster to see what would the neighbors say. my favorite is the guys who has no excuse to skip work, poor fella. dialog system was kinda unpolished because it glitches for a few seconds each dialog. I think it's because you printed the text and then show each character one by one but it's supposed to be saving the dialog first and then showing it one by one to avoid the flash of the filled box. and I fell out of the world by accident XD. I like how the map shows me a general direction to dig so I know where to go.  game page could use a better thumbnail and more screenshots though, I thought it would be something low quality at first

overall I enjoyed my time and I hope greg returns the shovels. he only needs one :crying emoji:

I love this game. the art makes me wanna burst on how good it is and the animation. I just love this artstyle it's so cute. the story was also funny, greedy snowman. I guess even a greedy snowman deserves a bit of kindness. my main gripe is that making snow angels is a bit rng based due to the speed sometimes being too fast even for an esports player to react but I didn't really mind because I can just redo it. at first I was trying to brute force the spots but then I just started to explore and try to guess the spots, you were very sneaky but I was able to guess it and finish the game.

definitely the best game I played so far in the jam. a contender for #1

aside from no sounds, my main gripe is the level design. you basically know nothing and without the description the player would not event know the controls. you must be a try hard to even finish the game which is too much to ask for a normal person

pretty nice game. would've preferred if the stars didn't snap to place and instead test if it's close enough so your attempt would feel more special and stars still being movable even if it's the right spot because it blocks other stars that I'm trying to move. but my main gripe is that the reflection doesn't meet at the horizon line. it keeps on messing me up because the starts are placed higher than they should be based on the horizon line.  picture for reference

still, had a great time. amazing work

I like the art and music but the gameplay just feels like busy work.  it's only like 5% being engaged with the gimmick of the patterns have to be mirrored which is fun, but then 95% just placing blocks and destroying them which takes so long. I would prefer a way to hold a button down and mass delete or add blocks because it feels like I'm doing so much for so little to the point I feel like a mindless zombie. still I like the game and art and I respect you made it with your own engine

amazing game, I especially love the audio and when he said: It's Reflecting Time

thanks, the game does have music but not sfx because I ran out of time. in honesty the music wasn't that well implemented too because I did it last minute. but I appreciate you love the Amy ai. I just had to make her aggressive to much her personality and force the player to react

noo, I'm now regretting for not coming up with a medal system to encourage replayability. currently there's just a change of dialogue if you did very well

I coded amy to be strong but beth is as strong as the player 😉

thanks for playing. you can't just win, you must crush your competition

I love this one, it has a lot of polish and the art and animations are so cute, even the transitions are cute. it has really charmed me. though I wished the gameplay and controls were more polished, having the click be Z and not Left click is  very awkward and forces me to use the arrow keys to not destroy my hands and at that point I basically swapped my dominant hand making the whole game kind of awkward to play, and too much match puzzles, give me one where she picks the coal from a chest or stacks the snow for the snowman. still I had a very great time, one of my favorites in the jam

nice idea but the game seems very barren, you just make snow angels and nothing else. if this was coded in scratch then I'm impressed with the math for the angles; it was already hard in unity and I bet it's even harder on scratch. it's just sad there's barely a game to play here

the concept and the execution was very good,  I wished they were more levels if I'm honest. my only complaint is that the game isn't winter related, only a blue background

thanks. I coded her to be aggressive

thanks for playing my game! tbh I should've explained it in the game but not a subtle hint in the description. the more you it a slime the more knockback they get but they also get stronger and faster. so ideally you want to knock out a slime in the least kicks possible so they won't go at Mach 10

thanks for playing my game! the white rectangle is supposed to be a white beam effect played when the slime is knocked out, not when it explodes. though I didn't have time to give it actual effect

great gam, had a great time even though I didn't played it for that long. would've wished the tutorial taught the controls better and the movement being more polished because rn it feels like an ice level. but still had a great time

great idea of a game but this needs more polish. feels like I'm playing a test build. no health bars for the player and enemies and everything in general. outer walls has no collisions, fell down a few times. and the upgrades were underwhelming because I can't see how much more damage I'm doing. the theme implementation was good but a bit boring. just a random structure in the middle on an area. but hey I could see the vision, this definitely has potential. all it needs is more polish and time

had a fun time. just trying to get the glitches to areas where they won't match 3 was pretty funny to me; though I think this game is more glitch orientated than match 3. I found my self breaking blocks more often than matching it by 3. I know the cooldown on breaking blocks is for balancing but it feels like I'm being restrained when I wanted to go wild and break as many blocks as possible with the glitches.

*glitch*/*glitch* would break blocks again

thanks. the game is definitely not clean, really needs more polishing and actual assets. also the white rectangle is a beam to show a slime got knocked out for feedback of an epic kick

yeah sorry I noticed these issues only after I uploaded the game. slimes do stop after being kicked but the delay is short. and slimes should definitely have a speed cap because currently at some point their speed can actually reach infinity showed by the editor

thanks for playing my game and the great feedback. for the white rectangle, I originally planned for some animations for the game but I quickly realized I don't have the time for that so I went with something simple. the white rectangle was meant to be something like a death beam to show they're knocked out like smash bros

love the art. I found it cool that amazon delivers the bread in this idle game, but not just that, it delivers it instantly. I also love how you guys integrate all of the ui to apps on your phone

pretty great game, congratulations on being 1st overall in the jam

would've wished the game was more chaotic with how the plants work to fit the theme in more accurately (but at that point the game wouldn't be cozy I guess) but currently it's a pretty good use of the theme. I think the game really deserves the score it got, it's not my personal top 1 of the jam but I'm glad this game won and not a different game

it's alright, I bet everyone in the jam wished they were able to get somethings done but can't due to time, it is understandable

oh noo, I feel so bad for you. you got the worst rated game in the entire jam. from the games I played yours is definitely better than a lot of the competition, but it just didn't get that much ratings. at least you finish the jam and learned a lot. I hope you have a wonderful day

wow, due to how unity's cross platform system works, this game is fully playable on a touch screen. never faced a single issue and finished the game on my phone
