Ahhh, thank you so much for the lovely review! This really warms my heart π₯Ίπ
I absolutely agree with you about the fluff! Every story needs a bit of angst or drama for flavor. π (and if you take a peek at my other games, it's quite obvious that I'm very partial to angst lol)
And I'm glad you enjoyed the different POVs! They were super fun to write, and I'm delighted to hear they can be relatable (or enlightening!), too. π
[SPOILERS BELOW]
First things first, I have to praise the writing, because DAMN you outdid yourself this time! π² Not only because of the length of the script (35k in a month?! that's basically as long as MBDSW π΅), but just the general atmosphere and the imagery were very effective (and impressive!). I especially liked the scene at the cemetery - it started so sweet and peaceful, only to turn into the shocking reveal (which I anticipated as soon as you mentioned a son, as the big guy kept giving me the ick for the better part of the story π¬). I kept thinking 'Don't go there, Chim,' and the game went there anyway fkdlfdls But it makes for a more impactful story, so good! I just feel for the poor boys and the things they had to go through π
Also, props to you for thematical consistency throughout - the repeated imagery of water and its constant presence in the story were very well done in my opinion. And then it felt very satisfying when you ended the story with fire - it made for a nice contrast.
I'm super curious why you picked the Aquarius, though (except for the obvious association with water), because I can't help but wonder about the statistical probability of two people having the same number of moles in the same arrangement, and surely there are constellations with fewer stars lol. (But this is in no way a dig at you, but more of a loose thought. π)
And the visuals were nice and impactful, too, especially with the little animations. π (I only wish there was a gallery to see all the CGs (30+?!))(BTW, my favorite was the one with Jonas lying in bed, it's so pretty π)
Overall, I think it was a good story! Heavy, for sure, and uncomfortable at times (a lot of the times), but gripping and nuanced, and thematically cohesive as well. Very nice job!

I'm so incredibly tickled by your words, that's such high praise fskdslfkdslkfs
I really wanted to do right by Vale and stay true to how I introduced him in Quaint, but that meant tackling the 'no relationships' topic in a romance game, which felt a little tricky at first lol. And it kinda was! I couldn't really see Vale falling for Lawrence the way Lawrence fell for him. But I figured he didn't have to, and it actually felt better to let him get there in smaller steps and be a little stubborn about his convictions. So I'm very happy that my intention came through and that it resonated with you!
Thank you so much for playing and for this sweet review, I'll be thinking about it for the next week or so π₯Ίπ
Thank you, Altila! I'm glad you enjoyed it! π₯°
As for Lawrence meeting Vale's mom, of course! I wanted to include a little scene or at least a mention of them meeting, but it didn't make it into the game in the end. But I think she'd love Lawrence and he'd definitely do his best to impress her π€
AHHHHH thank you so much, this put the biggest smile on my face π₯Ίπ
i'm happy it was worth the wait and that you enjoyed the humor and the doodles! i continue to be amazed that people actually find my jokes funny, but that makes all the work that much more rewarding π
lklkfdslsldf your favorite vn ππ that's so sweet π₯Ί (i'm afraid Quaint is a little too niche to be popular, but your sentiment means a lot, truly) i'll do my best to make the future projects even better π«‘
thank you again for the continuous support, i appreciate it π
This was so good! I loved the fall vibes and the nostalgic feeling of the demo! I think it pairs so well with the fact that it's their last time there and adds to the bittersweetness of it. BUT I also loved the chaos, and how dynamic and expressive everything was. Especially the culmination of the pillow fight scene put the biggest smile on my face. π ALSO, the GUI looks so stylish, and the sounds are very satisfying as you click through the menus. π
Berek and Marshall were my favorites so far (the former for being cool and caring, and the latter for being pathetic lol). But I'm honestly curious to learn more about the whole group! (and some of the hints you put there left me WONDERING)
Overall, a very promising start to the story! Can't wait for scary things to start happening and for all the secrets to spill out π
Hello, I played the demo and it was a lot of fun! (I love that you added a different line for every boarded window fjsdjflsjlsd) It honestly ended too soon, I want to know more! (especially about the boys π€)(tho let it be known that I don't trust Ivan at all lol)
The sprites are very cute, I loved the humor, and I think you did a great job with the atmosphere, so I'll be looking forward to the full release ^^
(also, a small thing, but this happened with the puzzle (I was playing the version from before the latest update tho, so it might've been already patched π)

Heyyy, thank you for sharing your thoughts! I'm happy you enjoyed the game π«Ά
You're right about most things! Neither Milo nor T were ever meant to be perfect - more so, I think it's more interesting to have characters that are flawed in certain ways (like the way Milo sometimes does the opposite of what they say). And though both have their faults, in the end, I believe Q would be happy with either of them, so it's down to preference.
One thing I will say, though, I think Milo's reaction to Q's past is absolutely warranted when you consider that they didn't know what Q had been through, OR the realities of life in the Organization. And looking from an ordinary person's perspective, none of that is normal and WOULD be scary and hard to accept. (But they do accept it in the end! And that speaks about them more than their initial reaction IMO π)
