The visuals and sound make for a cute and coherent experience, really pleasant style. The bowl moving is a nice layer to add some tension. I had fun.

Thank you! It is easiest to survive if you are proactive in taking out enemies so that the screen does not fill with bullets. This will not maximize the score though.

Thanks for playing! I will be adding more control options after the jam.

Haha nice!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad to hear you like the sprites. There is only the one stage and boss for now.

I somehow got launched into the air.

Fun game. I like the sprites and the menu music.

I enjoyed that the snacks increase in value the more you collect within a stage. That combined with the time limit really pushes the player to take risks, and it was compelling! That being said, once the player is familiar with the stage layouts, it feels like there is an incentive to wait out the timer on comparatively dangerous stages hoping for a better one rather than trying to collect the snacks. I wonder if that is the intended scenario.

I had fun with this, the feedback from typing is satisfying, and the smooth transition from one word to the next feels good. I think I will play it again in the future when I want to practice my typing. The audio and visuals come together for a coherent aesthetic.

I wonder if there is potential for a chaining bonus or something, if the player completes several words within a short interval. It could introduce some risk-reward, where the player is incentivized to wait for a few words to be on screen and then try to do them all in short succession, rather than starting to type each word as soon as it appears.

Thank you for playing! If you want to, you can be quite aggressive with the special.

It is possible to take the score much higher than this.

Thank you for playing! Sorry about the performance. I am going to post an updated version after the jam.

Sorry D: Thank you for trying it out.

Thank you! I will definitely try an object pool for bullets and maybe pickups. Mouse control is interesting. I think the special attack meter gain or invulnerability would need to be adjusted if the player character could move in on enemies with the kind of speed and precision mouse control would afford, but I may give it a try. I really appreciate you playing and sharing your thoughts.
