I wanted to make the timer random but I ran out of time... might put that in once the jam is over

really funny idea, my high score was six

Very well made game! I'm normally not too good with games about ocean diving, but I went through the first two layers. It was very enjoyable

I like the gameplay loop,  the contrast between mining to sell and platforming was really neat, but some of the hitboxes on the spikes were really frustrating. Could be skill issue though, I don't tend to play a lot of action-intensive platformers

I wasn't able to figure out how to dip to progress that well (to make the children happy), it just kept clipping to the sides and what not. I'm not sure if it's a me thing or not, very charming visuals and audio regardless!

Here's mine! All you need is the space bar https://highwayspaghetti.itch.io/the-last-cookie

Here's my game! https://highwayspaghetti.itch.io/the-last-cookie

Maybe it's just a firefox thing. It pops up on my end when I use firefox

Oh, what I meant is, when my game is run, it pops up in a different window (not a new tab, but an entirely separate window)

Love the style of gameplay, very fun to try and figure out.

Checking it out right now! In the mean time, would love for you to check out my game! All you need is the space bar https://highwayspaghetti.itch.io/the-last-cookie

Here's my game, short and sweet, all you need is the space key https://highwayspaghetti.itch.io/the-last-cookie

Here's my game, it's short and simple! All you need to do is press space https://highwayspaghetti.itch.io/the-last-cookie

It's really cool! Wish there was a way to save my rolls if I get a good result before three rolls are up, but other than that it's very well polished!

Very cool game, but it glitches out when I get a favorable result before the three rolls are up and I want to keep all of the dice for my result.

This is my game! Play as a stick figure and press space to eat the very last cookie before your rival does! The Last Cookie

Very well executed concept, it felt rigged which I think was the intention? (higher numbers you tend to win if you guess that the number is higher than the lever and vice versa). I'm just squeamish about gore, sorry!

very epic

Unfortunately I wasn't able to fully finish this game because I'm not sure if it works for trackpad controls? But it does seem like a very interesting and fun game

Really love the strategy element of this game, the visuals and audio are charming as well. There do seem to be a few things that I think might make this game unintentionally challenging.

If the opponent frog lands on my nest, I can't seem to do anything to get rid of it or squish it, though this can be rectified if I draw a super leap to swap positions with the opponent frog.

However if I use super leap with a frog on my nest and my frog is carrying eggs, the eggs do not automatically go into the nest afterwards.

Overall, very well done game.

Will do! I like the strategy part of it

Peak fiction

This looks like something that would get on a random streamer with a decent amount of followers would play for 10-20 minutes and have at least one clip go viral from the stream. 10/10

Update: really funny siding with the British still has the newspaper deliver the temperature in fahrenheit instead of celsius.

Further Edit: What engine did you use to make this? It's really interesting.

Incredible audio and visuals, and the gamplay was fun when I got used to dashing to break through walls.

I played the game by myself so I won by default,  very fun game, love the visuals and audio swim controls feel a little janky, but very nice game overall

I clicked on the tutorial and was unable to get back to the main menu. Oh well. Will reset and see how it goes

Update: nvm I just saw, hit esc to go back to main menu my bad.

Further update: Very interesting game, I like the take on the theme and the frogger-esque gameplay crossed with cost-management was a really fun idea, though I did find picking up the melons to be a little bit slow.

yknow what tennouttaten

Edit: I died twice. I only have a keyboard. But it was fun so oh well

Neat Game

This is really neat! Also was wondering how you got it so Godot doesn't launch a pop-up window automatically. In my game I wasn't sure how to stop that from happening, It might be because I submitted it through firefox which required me to click "Shared array Buffer" On?. Either way, very charming visuals and neat horde survivor gameplay, I can see this becoming something interesting post jam

Nice. Also how did you get it so Godot doesn't launch a pop-up window when you run the game? It was my first time working with Godot for a game jam so I wasn't sure how to make that work with the export

Update: After dying the first few couple of times, I wound up lessening the power, but this just made the traveler slow down to a snails pace on the upper side of the screen. It's been that way for over a minute. Very fun concept though

Mine's super basic, but here, you press space to eat the cookie before the other guy does.

Hi guys! Now that the jam has concluded and we're all going to try out each other's games, here's mine! "The Last Cookie".

It's a really simple game where you just press space to eat the cookie before the other guy does. Here's where you can play!

I might have just done lower gameplay strats because I'm not quite gamer enough to complete this, but cool concept
