I keep coming back to this game more and more impressed.

First time playing I felt it was a bit slow... but that really grew on me and became the reason I felt like I could come back to complete it. The monster screens are so dang scary and all of the art is great. Would love to see this turned into a full release with a short narrative and some further worldbuilding sprinkled in-- so much so I would absolutely wishlist it day one.

Very interesting twist on the original! Really liked the idea of a level being ongoing until the animals are returned to their pen. Would be interested to hear this with a chiptune version of the song and some revamped sound effects.

If you keep working on this, I definitely agree with Fifth Layer's assessment! A bit of onboarding, a story hook, and really clear UI would go a long way in keeping me interested in this game.

Really love the aesthetic and sound design of this! Great way to reinvent the genre but keep the core of the game. This would go so hard as a mini-dungeon crawler with different characters or power-ups (e.g., I like how I didn't feel compelled to slay the ghosts when the sword did a good job keeping them away; would be very intrigued by a character that actively encourages players to go after ghosts via some sort of vampirism and/or one that just avoids them entirely with something like a speed boost).

Wow! Great concept, game, and retro vibes. If you combined this with the structure, sound design, and approximate aesthetic of a classic Mega Man game I would wishlist it immediately.

Really dig the first-person survival horror twist. Intro splash and instructions were nice plus helped give the game a more complete feel. If you keep working on this idea, the mix of 2D and 3D gives you the chance to show off some really unique effects, environments, and enemies that would really make it stand out. Great work!

This could help make some really cool, creative layouts. Would be interested to see what a maze level would look like
