Really easy to both learn the controls and the unique mechanics, and felt really good to play! Thanks for sharing - fantastic game jam game and genuinely wild you DIY-ed an engine (although it shows in a good way!)

That's incredibly kind of you to say!! We definitely seem to have a type :) Really appreciate you commenting!

No it worked really well!! Actually really satisfying, and makes sense you need to make a closed loop given the theme for the jam :)

Oh cool! Okay, that's interesting to hear - like trying out new block based game engines so might give it a go :)

Really fun, thanks for sharing! A bit tricky to get the doors open! Once I stood back a bit it started working more predictably

Surprisingly tricky! Really enjoyed it though, thanks for sharing

Would love to play a web version of this or a mac-compatible one!

I haven't seen gdevelop before! How did you find using it? Their website has a lot of AI focus but are there non-AI tools for making games?

10/10!!!! Fantastic visuals, sound design, tutorial, and cute frogs. Really really really good and polished!

I was hoping I'd see a sewing one!! Super cool, really polished visuals and fun game loop  :) took a few goes to get a hang of the intersecting loop required to get the sprites coming at me but super clear once I got the hang of it!

Really fun! Love the Outer Wilds vibe and great storytelling. Ended up in a hole :)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the candle. Sorry about the error - we found out just before the deadline that there's a critical error right in the way of finishing the game and didn't have time to update. Will try and swap out the build as soon as we're allowed.

Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry about the error - we found out just before the deadline that there's a critical error right in the way of finishing the game and didn't have time to update. Will try and swap out the build as soon as we're allowed as Gaia is so close to the end!

Hey thanks so much for giving it a go! Sadly our final build had a critical error right in the way of finishing the game! Will try and get a version live soon without that, but can't update the itch io page till after the jam ends.

Our final build has a catastrophic error near the second third of the game, but still really happy with how the rest turned out! https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3629232

Fun! Pretty polished-feeling given the deadline
