Awesome demo.

I would suggest adding the 'p' key or something else to pause the game in addition to escape for web builds since esc exits fullscreen.

Hey! The concept is really cool, but im not really able to progress. There gets to be a point where all planets have enemies shooting at my ships and as soon as I conquer a planet its defenses drop to 0.

yes, sorry, totally forgot to put the instructions in the itch page, since no one will be able to figure it out lol. You need to swap one of your purple towers to hold it by holding left click on the image that pops up when you mouse over it, then place an extractor on a rock. I’m aware it says this nowhere in the game, we unfortunately completely ran out of time. The enemies also are a bit bugged, you probably just completely dominated them lol, the original ones are supposed to keep growing stronger but we tunes it super easy since last jam this team did together ended up being way too hard for players lol. Rather have it too easy than too hard for a game jam.

hey thanks! Yea there are a few bugs and other issues, we want to upload a fixed version after the 5 days, but dashing wasn’t one of them (that we are aware of). You need one of your minions to be able to dash and it leaves them behind, and killing all the enemies opens the gates.

Good work guys! My only complaint is that half the time I can't place the boxes, otherwise it's really excellent for 48 hours!

I agree that the tower's shots should be a bit more visually clear, in fact there's particle effects for all of them, but we ran out of time to correctly and accurately depict where a tower is shooting. Hopefully at the end of the week we can fix a few of the major bugs!

Thanks for the feedback! This way my second game jam and for many on the team it was their first. We've learnt from it as a team and hopefully our future projects will be tighter!

Thanks for the feedback clephanie! We definitely wanted to have an indicator to use the door after finishing the painting, but we ran out of time! Hopefully we'll release a patch for it to add the stuff we missed.

It seems fun but I cannot play it properly :( The UI at the buttom is almost completely outside the game window :(
