Hi! I'm Viacheslav, a narrative designer with a philology background and a few years of experience as a tabletop RPG Game Master (D&D 5e) — running original campaigns, balancing player agency with structure in real time.
I'm currently building an original narrative RPG concept (Great Unknown) as a portfolio project — branching dialogue, a hidden skill-progression system, planted consequences that resurface later in the story, and multiple endings shaped by player choices rather than a single binary morality meter. Built and prototyped in Twine and Ink.
What I can help with:
- Branching dialogue and quest structuring (clean, logical flowcharts with variable tracking)
- Worldbuilding and lore — factions, character bios, item/world flavor text
- NPC voice and tone consistency across a script
- Narrative systems that tie into gameplay (skill checks, consequence tracking, multiple endings)
I work in Twine and Ink, and I'm comfortable using AI tools as part of an iterative design process (not as a replacement for actual writing — for stress-testing structure, catching gaps in branching logic, and balance discussions).
Portfolio: includes a playable Twine prototype, full design documentation (Story Bible + Narrative Design Document), and standalone dialogue samples. Happy to share on request.
Open to paid work, revshare on a project that genuinely interests me, or portfolio-building collaborations if the game's tone is a good fit (dark fantasy, sci-fi, character-driven drama — my strongest territory, though I can adapt).
Feel free to reply here or reach out — happy to talk about what you're building.
