Cheap jumpscares or just jumpscares? There's a difference. If you get jumpscared out of nowhere for no reason it's cheap. If you know a killer or something is around and he pops up around a corner it's not cheap. Most puppet combo games I've seen don't have cheap jumpscares (though their normal jumpscares are so loud and insane I still wouldn't play them).

Also as a "player" I can give a recommendation: focus on the atmosphere. In horror games especsially, if the atmosphere is good, it changes a lot. I would never have played a horror game, espesially cry of fear, if its atmosphere, vibe, feel wasn't so unique and attractive. I literally stop playing cuz I'm scared, go back because I want more, repeat. Your game looks nice, I'll wishlist and wait :=)

Do you think you'd make a Linux version at some point? Itch.io is the only place I can get games since setting up Steam is cancerous

It's very easy to switch OS, windows 7 is insane to use nowadays. Also super unsecure, if you're a target you'll get hacked in an instant

I really really love the atmosphere of Cry of Fear, and was looking for something similar. I'm a scardy cat though so I can't play games with those cheap jumpscares where stuff just jumps in your face or loud noises suddenly break your ears.

Any suggestions?

Pretty sick game, liked it a lot, can't wait for xQc to play it.

Tho some notes: there are lots of small "bugs"; things you should expect the player to mess up doing. 

For example, I went to see the guy in the car before answering the phone, and that caused the car and the text to be there for the entire game.

I also accepted that the last obvious doppelganger buys and afterwards killed it, while the timer was ticking I got on the buss and ended the game. But I wonder what would've happend if I stayed in the menu and let the timer run out.

Otherwise pretty nice game, though I wish you'd include something a bit unusual because there are many very similar games. I'm being a bit harsh but it's because I think the game is very well made so I give you higher standards :)

Don't download if you're just bored and wanna play something, it's very unfinished and you do nothing.

the dash is intended that way so it becomes a bit harder I guess so you have to know where to dash to.
