Okay, when are we playing and can I play as my dog? She is unnaturally UNtalented, but she is extremely cute

The Italian Goat Dictionary is just Italian vibrato and I'm here for it

I need to know if our own Great Mother Atropo Kelevra is aware of the game's existence and if yes when are we playing it with Her???

Great work, Corin, you were made for this kind of humor and the mechanics seem to serve the experience really well!

I'll try to phrase it better because it's obvious there's some sort of linguistic barrier here. Yes, the physical games (TTRPGs, gamebooks and the likes) are DIGITALLY distributed on itch.io.  There are currently 59,393 listed as I type this comment, they have a dedicated page https://itch.io/physical-games .

No worries though, I realized the different time zones are incompatible with my participation in the jam. Though I didn't quite get my question across to you, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Have a good jam.

To itch.io, physical games are TTRPGs, gamebooks, etc.

Whatever isn't a videogame, so both print-and-play games and games you can read on the screen but need you to play in real life, be it solo or with a role-playing table.

Yes, I know, it's not my first jam. I asked if physical games are allowed, though.

Hello! I stumbled upon the jam accidentally and I think it's wonderful that a space to uplift both cis and trans women and non-binary people in the gaming community exists! Keep up the good work!

I have a question: as a TTRPG Game Designer, I would participate with a physical game. Are they allowed in this jam?

Thank you in advance for your response!

Thank you so so much for playing! And for taking the time to write this review too! I really appreciate it, it's by far the longest feedback I've received on a project so truly, thank you for leaving it!

I'm glad you loved the concept and I'm very happy you got to make up additional mechanics to make your experience more fulfilling. Honestly the point of any game is too have fun so whatever works for you to make it work is excellent. I'm used to playing solo games that give the player a lot of agency (for example Last Sabbath or Perigon Falls), while my previous solo games kept it very low creating an hybrid with gamebooks, and I love both "schools of thought" so your insight is very valuable to me!

Due to scheduling conflicts, in creating this game for the jam I could only squeeze in a really quick playtest, so I absolutely agree the game might need more work in the future (and that's why I intend to leave it pay-what-you-want, so I can always add stuff in the future). When I rework this game in the future, because I absolutely feel like it deserves it, I will likely add tables for Side Characters creation (mostly because I enjoy creating Side Characters a lot) and possibly a few pre-made ones as well for inspiration. I'm also thinking of adding a videogame-inspired difficulty/risk level for performing certain actions/acts to make players think outside the box when creating the story!

Long story short, stay tuned because I hope this game will get better and better in the future, and it will also be thanks to your amazing feedback. And also, thank you for telling your game experience and thank you for the photo! That's actually so cool! I'm glad you had fun and I hope I hear from you again!

I kid you not I just spent half and hour playing your game and it's so good! Honestly the first time I run into bodywriting (pretty vanilla of me I guess) and I loved that part of the game. The art is so good too! I hope you like my game if you ever try it!

I read your review and I will respond soon, thank you so much for taking so much time to playtest and give feedback! It means the world to me! I definitely plan on working more on the game, and I'm always open to collabs. I'm really glad I somehow inspired you! Excited to see what you make in the future then!

Thank you for your kindness, you're always spreading the love. Free Palestine!

Honestly, for being your first game, this is just beyond impressive. Runs smoothly, fits the theme... just great. I have a feeling we might have a winner and I genuinely compliment you on the work!

The theme was very well incorporated and the game runs well. I'm personally not a fan of generative AI but I applaud the idea behind the game. Good job!

I think the presentation of the game, with its art and background music, really turn a simple concept into a full experience. This was fun, great job!

I experienced a few bugs related to the movement keys, as in they didn't always work right away and sometimes forced me to take a less intuitive route just to give the system the time to pull itself back together, but I'm no videogame dev and still find this impressive considering the limited time given. I like the concept and turning into a pillow when the guards got near was fun!

Thank you so much! If you have any feedback on it once you've tried it, comments are always open!

I just submitted the game, I really hope you'll like it!

I see! I might run a one-shot with it, I'll let you know how it goes!

No problem! I don't expect to win or anything, but I would love to take part in the jam! And if I get a few people to try out a ttrpg for the first time, that's even better! Thank you for your answer!

Hi, I have a question! I'm a ttrpg designer and looking at the entries for the past jams I only saw videogames. Would it be okay to participate with a ttrpg? Thanks in advance.

I'm a big fan of narrative games, I'm unfamiliar with the Liminal Horror system but reading your adventure gave me a good reason to look into it. Great work!

I think the setting is the strong point of your adventure and I find the inspiration very original! Just a question since it's not stated in the adventure itself: were you thinking of specific classes and a particular level to play it with?

The game is really cute but I'm pretty sure you didn't intend it to do this (it's the demo so maybe it's already fixed in the game), just letting you know! Keep up the good work!

Planned yesterday, started early in the morning of today and I'll probably finish drafting my adventure tomorrow at some point. I should have plenty of time to revise, hopefully!

Thank you Sasha for translating my game to German and helping me bring the apocalypse abroad! Vielen Dank!

I just had the time to read the game and I'm very happy I supported it on Kickstarter. This will keep me company on a good amount of solo role-playing afternoons. Congrats Sasha!
