Man +4 on Knowledge roll is not overpowered) you can easily roll 1,2,3+4. And CB is a d20 system, with standart DR of 12, even with +4, it's not going to be "too easy")
People played this class at my games, i've played it myself a few times, and it did not break the game)
By far the most powerful thing is the "Quickhacks" talent, but again, it's not Dnd, hacking is far from automatic and if are using the "standart" method, the person who plays the class, still has to roll and get that talent, they might get something else)
Hey man! About the save mechanic, what you need to do, is just - get good! Just kidding) I figured it's a short game, so it's not that dramatic and i wanted the game to be slower, feel more dangerous and less run&gunny, the player to be more careful etc. But also, you can kill most enemies with an axe, without taking damage, the bats and wraith are exceptions, but bats die to anything with 1 hit and wraiths can be avoided all together.
But anyway, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
Hey,
On "The Stalkers" page (p.7), there is a section that talks about experience and how it is gained, on the next page - "Stalker moves", there is a move called "Take a rest", it states: "During the rest, each stalker can also spend 10 XP to acquire 1 new talent, up to 10 talents max."
If you're asking if there is an automatic improvement system, when you "level up" and your basic stats become higher - there is no such mechanic. All improvements are linked to aquiring new talents.
