The gravity changing mechanic is a fun addition! although using it isn't intuitive. There also seems to be a limit to how many enemies spawn which'll leave you stuck until you quit.  The number of hit particles is a bit overwhelming . it's a good platform to build up a good game from!

When submitting your game make sure you build it first! only have access to the source code, need a zip of the built project instead

it would be a nice addition to run the player through the controls, as well as fine tuning the physics and collisions of the player. another small detail I noticed was that the pit in the second level didn't cause the player to respawn or restart the level. After ironing out these issues, I'm sure this would be quite a fun platformer fighter

A really fun Double Dragon clone  Original game idea ! It's well made and is visually impressive. The way that the camera is implemented is really fun and adds to the charm of the game. The combat is well polished and satisfying to do, and overall is a fun experience

a few issues that I found :

The first enemy clipping through the floor on my second playthrough onwards

An issue with the camera that lets you see out of bounds when the player is right up close to the camera

An issue with the camera clipping with the environment such as street lamps and the overpass

Enemies don't properly align to the player and wont hit the player

Other than those few minor fixes, it is really well done and a great play!

I agree the difficulty shouldn't be a linear increase as that evidently quite easily gets too hard too quick. The fish staying in the same position wasn't an intentional feature, just a product of inexperience,  and your suggestion of a new fish is very insightful thank you.

The game was actually inspired by Stardew's fishing minigame so we are pleased that it's translated in the final product!

As for the art, we had ran in to many issues with sprites that lead to the game not functioning properly so the placeholder primitives had to stay in the final cut ;-;

I agree that the difficulty curb is insanely steep and some finetuning should fix that issue.

Thank you for enjoying our game! we actually did have a fish sprite but for some reason it caused the whole game to stop running so we unfortunately had to remove it for the final product ;-;

it is however good to know that even without proper sprites it is still an enjoyable experience

I've played this for too long. addictive and fun! some more variation in environment would be great. I appreciate the Easter eggs . 10/10 would click again

Entertaining game with interesting mechanics. It is well made and intuitive . Slight issue with animations resetting when the scene reloads which is a little jarring but other than that this is a well polished game
