Thanks to everyone for the comments and feedback! This was a wild experience for my first game jam. I'm just really happy that everyone seems to have enjoyed playing this as much as I enjoyed making it. See you next year!

I'm still a bit shocked! Thank you :)

I'm flattered that you wanted to play it again, thanks! :)

I loved the art, the characters are so expressive and their designs very distinct! The sound went along nicely, too. Regarding the gameplay, I would have liked to see how the evidence was used and what was correct/incorrect. It would also have been nice to restart quicker without watching the intro, and to have a "level select" option so that I could see all the characters more easily (some characters were repeated before new ones, and I don't know for sure if I played them all)

It was fun to figure out the controls to each minigame. The visuals and audio work really well too. I think the "dodge" and "don't move" minigames should have a longer delay at the start so that there's a fair time to react to them.

Glad you enjoyed it!

The concept is solid! In a complete version, it could be fun to use the ingredients and different preparation methods to make multiple potions as efficiently as possible without wasting parts of the ingredients.

Thank you! It really makes my day to hear that you enjoyed it.

Creative clicker game. I got to 20k score by just clicking 0s but had to stop before my hand hurt. Visuals are nice, but I didn't like the sluggish mouse movement.

Great idea for the core gameplay, it was very enjoyable. The butler needs a raise

I liked the levels, it felt like a little puzzle to figure out what route to take. I would like the movement more if the character stopped moving up when you let go of the jump button (so that you can precisely control the jump height)

Smooth gameplay. I liked how fast the transition between levels was. Could also be interesting to give more time for dashing through enemies compared to just shooting them

Stylish game, movement was satisfying. I would have liked to play through all the levels at least once before getting repeats of earlier levels. Also, the tinnitus sound on game over is some crazy work

I liked the core concept and most of the levels. Not a fan of the numbers being hidden behind the boxes. There was a minor, funny bug: the player character moves left when I scroll the volume wheel on my headphones.

I'm a sucker for precision platformers and this was very fun! The cohesion and polish are remarkable.

Serene atmosphere, the art is fantastic and the audio goes well with it. The title makes the gameplay feel meaningful even though it's not elaborated on in the game. I'm curious about what that animation in the shed window is.

Match-three with multiple "dimensions" is a nice idea. I also like the visuals. It was difficult to see at a glance what the shapes and numbers of a cube are, but it might work better with fewer distinct shapes/numbers (or just visuals that are easier to identify, but that's a lot of information to pack in a very small space).

Good idea for a puzzle game, rules are simple to understand but the puzzle itself is complex. I liked the clean UI and the color scheme.

Neat idea. I liked the visuals. Agree with the other commenters that there could be a clearer indicator of how exactly the balancing works.

Nice idea. I liked the simple aesthetic, the animation on the title is a good touch.

Amazing! Very ambitious idea :)

Enemy design and music are fantastic. I also really liked the expressive animation of the top hat character in the intro.

Loved it! The level staying the same between days made the world feel more meaningful (compared to randomly generating a new one each day). Being able to swap out acorns for the more valuable ones was a good feature. I also liked the length of the game, as it ended before getting repetitive.

Thank you! Really happy that you could identify the design intent just from the final game :)

Impressive visuals and audio. The simple animations really bring the UI to life.

Fun game, movement was very responsive.

This was really good! I enjoyed the puzzles and the humour, 45 degree guard is peak character design. Very polished overall

Really liked this one! It was funny how you can't even lose intentionally because of how terrible some of the customers are at blackjack.

The first puzzles were nice, but I couldn't figure out how to get past the third trapdoor. Liked the atmosphere!

I'm so glad you noticed that joke, it was one of the main reasons I had the motivation to make this...

This is really engaging and the visuals are very pleasing! I liked how some fruit come from the sides instead of from below, makes it more interesting. Got a score of 1.5m

holy hell it's John Time with his iconic dash ability!

The movement was fluid and I liked the visuals.

Fun idea, each death gives another "rule" to follow. Countless necks were broken and heads were bonked...

Love the character art!

Lovely idea for a runner game.

Very cute :)
Also, that really is a fun fact about orange cats! Never knew that.

Thank you! I planned on adding more scenes like choosing sound effects for each action, but ended up keeping the scope smaller with only the best bits.

Nice idea and solid execution! Felt like a mix of football and billiards.

Love the character art and animations!

Nice visuals! I feel bad for the squids though :(

This is great! The idea of a robot perpetually forced to keep fixing itself is cool.
