I was curious to see what would happen if I reached the indicated distance, but I wasn’t able to do it. I was just running without even shooting; the mobs deal too much damage, and the distance is very long. The sprites lack shadows, and the brown monsters look like a blot — they need more detail. Overall, it’s a good idea, and even just shooting at the mobs doesn’t get boring quickly. I’d also like to see what the boosts provide. In any case, thank you for the work. I liked how the pistol looks in the preview; it would be cool if the eye moved ))

As a beginner programmer, I would be interested in how this works under the hood, but I am a Unity developer :)

Completely agree with all the shortcomings; the game turned out to be a bit more difficult to implement than I expected. In any case, I plan to continue developing games, so I’ll just take note of my mistakes and move forward!

Regarding the fact that at first there isn’t enough time to feed the mouth, I did this intentionally: you were supposed to drag it back to the start of the path while the mouth finishes eating the first character. However, this clearly wasn’t obvious to the player and should have been implemented differently. As for upgrades, yes, there are few items because good ideas started coming only in the last few days, and I wouldn’t have had enough time to implement them. :) 

This game creates an amazing atmosphere, I liked the visual style

This game took a lot of energy; I worked on it for a week and was rushing on the last day. Apparently, you should add sound during development)) The speed of the mouth opening should increase over time—that was the idea.

The first chase was perfect, it took me a few tries to realize that I could jump over the fence :), the second one didn't seem as interesting and I couldn't get through it. The trees that look like reeds are really funny )

Yes, I originally made them for variety, or would you prefer that they could be completed only with them?

Thanks for playing! I wanted to add a couple more sounds and visuals, but I ran out of time, and also, due to inexperience, I realized at the very end that I should have been creating a tilemap instead of building levels with prefabs :)

The beginning look very similar to the song “That’s Life” by Frank Sinatra :)

Agree, It is difficult to play with such low FPS.

How unfortunate that ruthless poachers have cut down the entire forest. It would be beneficial if we could plant trees in exchange for nuts and restore this forest, allowing new inhabitants to appear in it.
