A fellow mail game! The web version crashed before I could deliver the last package... camera worked fine though.
The art on the boxes is really cute! Good job!
I really like the artwork, although with the cards overlapping I couldn't read all the text on most of them.
I think the game would need some additional strategic element, cause as it stands it's mostly gambling. But I do think the concept could be improved into something cool with just small changes. Good job, especially for a solo team!
I really like the retro shader, the game looks awesome and it has a great atmosphere, music is fantastic as well.
The scaling doesn't seem to work for me, it's probably only correct in 1920x1080, but that's not a big deal.
I really struggled to find the key because
1) i kept trying to get into the watchtower (although that's for sure my bad)
2) big antler guy was way too fast for me to properly search the area, even when I lured him away a bit
Also the jumpscare was a bit loud after the first time. Maybe have it be at lower volume later?
But that's all just areas for improvement, it's a really solid jam game as is and you can be proud of yourselves!
I really enjoyed this one, I love the artstyle. Sometimes, cars would just stop in the middle of the (connected) road though. Still, I'm impressed by the car routing/not crashing into each other logic, I'd imagine that wasn't easy to make. Audio would have been nice, but props to you for making everything from scratch. Great job!
Cool idea and atmosphere! Picking up berries was bugged in the web version (seemed like the collisions had an offset) but worked well in the downloaded version.
I think the game really needs some sort of goal, because if I didn't miss anything, you're kinda just beaming animals to the curator without really working towards anything bigger. And you should definitely include some music.
That said, I think this is really impressive for a 1-person team and I love the alien models. Well done!
Wow, this game is great! It looks good, I love the frogger parts, just an all around awesome package. I do agree that the button spamming is kind of annoying but that could be easily fixed (just let the player hold down the button to mine).
I think the timer works great, I love how it forces you to think about which route might be the most profitable without taking too long to mine.
My score was 337 on the first try, but I'll definitely come back to improve it!
Really cool game! I love the retro gameplay! It took me a little bit to understand how it works, but I think that was part of the fun. I just feel like the monster killed me out of nowhere sometimes (no spores, no time to react), while other times it just stood there, menacingly.
I also love the art but it would have massively profited from sound effects and music.
