That's awesome to hear, and I am happy to see these go to use. :)

Thank you very much! Characters are something I need to create in the future and a more generic home/apartment tileset will come for sure. : )

Much <3 to my patrons, who helped make this asset pack possible (and who also voted for the giant taiyaki centerpiece)!

Thanks a lot! I just checked out your page and you've got some very awesome work. I use Aseprite for all my pixel work. : )

Thank you very much Zach! Keep me updated on the project that you use them for! : D

Thanks JesterOC! I hope you'll enjoy them and put them to good use. :D

Whoa! Thank you so much! It's very much appreciated. : )

Thanks so much! I'm glad they are being enjoyed.

Thanks! I would love to do some additions (especially cats), but I need to see how well this one does over a month or so.

Heya again all!

I just released a clean, modern themed European city top-down tileset here (16x16 tiles). The pack is $5.00 ($3.75 if you already own my Japanese City asset pack). Patrons of my Patreon pledging $4 or more can access this pack at no cost and all other patrons receive a 50% off coupon.

This asset pack comes with:

- 386 16x16 static tiles in png format

- 3 animations included in Tilemap and individual png files (2 types of trees and 4 fountain tiles)

- 2 Tilemaps (1 pixel padded and non-padded)

Thank you very much! :)

I definitely want to expand out with a more rural Japanese tile set, which would have shrines + graveyards and temples.

Heya Luis! Thank you for your interest. Yep, you can use these in a commercial game. The credits go to GuttyKreum, that's correct. : )

Thanks very much! : )

Thank you! I find using blue for dark shadow provides a good watery look. : )

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that it came out very readable. : )

I'm glad that you're enjoying this one as well. : D

Heya!

I just released a Japanese themed top-down tileset based on my Tokyo Karaoke pixel art, which is inspired by a real life karaoke bar in Toyko, Japan. This pack slots in with my previous pack and wanted to share it as well. The pack is $5.00 ($3.75 if you already own my Japanese City asset pack). Patrons of my Patreon pledging $4 or more can access this pack at no cost and all other patrons receive a 50% off coupon.

The pack contains day and night versions of the tiles (day and night include different animations for the TVs, cat and misc objects such as the dance floor).

Enjoy!

Looking awesome dude. I dig the palette. : )

Thanks! I plan to make quite a few sets with a Japanese style that can all fit together. : )

Heya!

I'm happy to hear! I also have a new asset pack coming soon that fits in with this theme. : )

Thank you very much. : )

Thank you for the kind words. :D

I am glad to hear! The zip file has now been updated. Check the 'Sidescrollroof' folder within for the extras. :)

Hello!

I want to share some Japanese town assets I have created which are based on a real life location in Japan (Honmachi Asaichi Street, you can actually check out the location here using Google Street View) and also introduce myself. The pack is $2.50 and includes everything shown in the animated preview screenshot (update 8/27/19: I've added vertical street tiles now). I do have some free asset packs available to check out here in case you are not interested in a paid pack.

If you're interested in more Japanese themed assets matching my style, let me know as I am eager to make some more. You can also find my other pixel art on either Twitter or Tumblr.

Nice to meet you all! : )

No worries. I see you on my discord now. Send me a DM when you can and I'll send over the pngs. Unless anyone else is interested in which case I'll officially add them to the download. Also I am interested in creating monster and character animations in this style, I'm currently waiting to see how well this pack is received. I'm also okay with you promoting me on your YT channel. Thank you. : )

I can just send you a still png of the tiles. To be clear do you mean the thin section of tiled roof above the vending machines?

I'm glad that you're enjoying the tileset and thank you very much for purchasing it! Do you mean the side version like the animation on the right side of this page? Unfortunately I didn't create that with a tileset in mind. I could cut it up into 32x32 pieces but it might appear quite awkward.

Thank you! :)

Getting some animated tall grass in there would be nice : ). I think I'm done with this one currently though outside of being commissioned to create extra tiles that would fit with this.

Little known fact: Flowers love metal music.

I'm glad you're digging the asset pack!

No problem, I am happy to see these go to use more! When you finish your game, send a link as I'd love to check it out.
