Glad you found it fun! Thank you for playing ^^

Thanks! We spent quite a while brainstorming before deciding on it, glad you liked it.

Thank you! Great to hear the puzzles were fun :D

Awesome, thanks. Yeah we barely had time to get everything in place, but somehow it worked out. glad you found it fun!

Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoyed it ^^

Good choice! I was a bit worried some mechanics weren't explained or intuitively understood well enough, so it's great to hear it worked out. Thanks a lot for playing!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked what we did with the mechanics :)

Thank you very much! Awesome that you liked the art style, we went for a pretty specific type of retro feel. Thanks for playing!

Glad you like the mechanics! It was tough squeezing them in before the jam deadline but luckily we managed to create a couple.

Cool gungeon-like (as far as core gameplay goes) you got there! I personally didn't have issues with clarity during combat, and found the controls and game feel to be pretty good. I like the music and the full-screen messages if you just spam. Nice use of the theme, hope you keep working on it after the jam! Furthest I got was floor 14.

Nice concept, having to beat your previous car by either just being faster or messing them up with physics can lead to some cool strats! It was funny watching my ghosts colliding and doing wacky stuff, though that made the getting-in-first part pretty easy. Great job!

Lots of copies used for levels in this one! I actually like how it could become kind of chaotic as 5 previous selfs + current self try to shortcut and boost each other at the same time. Great work on the puzzles, they were fun :)

(1 edit)

For sure the cutest use-your-own-previous-dead-body-to-proceed type game I've played, nice! The physics being a little wonky actually complements the cute, goofy aesthetic. I chuckled more than once during dialogues :)

Very neat narrative idea. Not that many games weave the actual story into the loop, and your approach felt unique and interesting! I liked trying to piece together the narrative through all the interactions, good job on your submission!

Whoa that's a lot of references and jokes, awesome. Love how you crammed all these ideas with wildly different aesthetics into a tight experience. Fun take on the theme, really enjoyed it.

Oho didn't expect a submission with platform fighter gameplay. Makes me happy as someone who competes in fighting games ^^
Movement felt quite nice, dashing was smooth and impactful, and fairly easy to get used to. The idea of having the same 4 challenges loop but get harder is good, but randomizing the added challenge every time makes for great replayability too, I enjoyed it.
Also really dig the hidden story and game mode, fun surprises like that are always cool.

Thank you, glad you liked it! During the pathing phase you can undo 1 step with the little blue arrow button next to reset, or by pressing Z. But after running an attempt it unfortunately doesn't save the path you made, which I can understand is a bit annoying. Thanks for playing!

I ended up mostly just swinging on the target bugs and trying to fling off sort of towards the next one. Beyond that I mainly used the jetpack to steer. Jet boosting when looping around a bug with the web made that part easy sure, but the game was challenging in other areas so it still felt engaging. Since the web swing could give so much speed it was definitely useful.

Very fun arcadey game! Plays well and is pleasing to look at. Though I couldn't quite tell the connection to the theme (hitting makes them orbit) without reading it on the page or in the game. Would probably be cool if the geometry outside of the level was visibly curved to enforce the orbiting thing. Still, awesome job! Proudly made it to Galactic League with a score of exactly 2000.

Also I keep thinking the meteors look like dice for some reason haha.

Cool concept, trying to balance the base score and multiplier was fun! I also like how it essentially has no skill ceiling as you can just input as fast as you want. Great use of the theme, nice work! Got 2268 score.

wowza

Super charming and chill! Setting up a level is fun and the amount of content is quite impressive. Nice use of the theme too. It's the kind of game I'd enjoy just driving around aimlessly in. I felt like a pro dodging my own obstacles (occasionally).

even though i drove the wrong way the first 2 loops

Very cohesive game, impressive amount of content (love that it has a proper boss fight). Cool use of the theme, I liked the core gameplay a lot! A bit punishing that you have to make it all the way around to keep your souls perhaps but still a fun experience. Love the sprite work, especially the enemies.

Great 3-color aesthetic, solid experience overall! Eventually managed to find the exit after getting a bunch of items (love the classic Isaac way of not being told what effects items have). The game feel is very nice for a jam game, awesome job!

Certainly one of the more creative ideas I've seen, great job! Loved launching off a bug towards the next one. The presentation is also super charming. Managed to get to round 7 with 5320 score.

Fits the theme nicely. Like others have said the camera seems wonky on the itch page but I managed to get through a couple levels at least.

Neat concept! Art and items are charming, love the intro.

Smart use of the theme. Meta glitch horror stuff works really well with a looping level. Nice job!

Awesome, thanks! I hoped to create a bunch of levels when everything else was in place, but alas, there was no time. So these 10 mechanic-introducing levels would have to be it. That said we might very well expand on the game after the jam.

I like how the movement was made, feels smooth. Also really enjoy the sense of speed you can get, especially at the last part of the level. Wouldn't mind just playing long stretches of curvy levels in this environment. Best time/score I got was 60,86.

Very fun stuff! At the start I was expecting pure action rhythm fps gameplay akin to BPM or Hellsinger, but I was pleasantly surprised that movement spells also was part of it, making it much more interesting building combos to also solve puzzles. Fits the theme, great job.

Thanks!

Glad you had fun ^^
There's definitely a possibility that we expand it with more content once the jam is fully over.

Thanks, glad you liked it!

Clever use of the theme, and great execution! Super clean minimalist style, just fantastic presentation overall. The fact that you had time to squeeze in a level editor is mind-boggling.

Very good puzzler and a balanced difficulty curve. Love how the theme creeps in at the very end. Chewy main btw.

Thank you!

Neat concept, I can see something like this being a fun minigame in Rhythm Heaven/Fever. Was pretty chill to play.

Creative and fun way to uncover the story, and the narrative itself was quite entertaining! Vibe is perfect, and I like the insanity effects.

Great usage of the theme. Felt like I could get better as I started making loops where enemies would end up by the time the loop gets finished. I can imagine this being fun for quite a while with more content. Also I managed to get the best possible score (13370) :D

Fun take on snake-ish gameplay, timing jumps felt reasonable. The looping part added a bit of strategy to which order you want to tackle obstacles in, though I found the hardest part was remembering where obstacles were, especially on the final level. Super charming!
