Thanks, I'm glady you like it.
Yeah, I'm an artist and also wrote all the code, but I need to commission audio, which is why there is less of it.

Yeah, the main thing to change when I get the chance for the next update will be to teach the mechanics better and make the early game easyer.
I made a poll on the discord and 22% had trouble with the tutorial which is obvously too much.
Until then, you might enjoy the Commissions Launcher, which has autoplay available from the start and lets you view more content without needing to clear anything.
Thanks for the feedback.
Conveying the mechanics better and an easyer start are definetly the first things I'll focus on for the next update.
Based on your description sounds like you might need to speed up. (Tap early a couple of times, then get back to tapping "on time" at this faster rythm.)
Maybe also check the "HELP" page on the menu.
I might eventually do some kind of semi-automatic mode for people who just want the story, at that point how well you do would be basically up to stats. The barrier for that is just being a single dev, where making/ballancing/testing 2 versions of everything bogs things down a lot.
I could make an easy mode by just upping all your stats, but that won't be enough for the people who couldn't get past the tutorial. The game still has to also convey how it works better.
But yeah, one of the two would probably be good to have.
This has definetly been a common comment in this new release, but it's not "most people". The game has a 4.5/5 rating so assume most people don't want it fundamentally changed. I've also had a Discord for a year to talk to players so most feedback comes from there.
Of course that is a smaller, more engaged group, so entry barriers aren't going to be as big a deal for them. The game has to be more accessible to keep growing. But I won't do it by throwing away what the core group likes about it.
It's going to be tricky. People seem to either get the idea of setting a rythm then keeping it intutively and right away or to never get it at all and find it absurd in a conceptual level ^_^'
It's cool to say it's not intuitive or well-explained enough, but criticism that says it should be a shallow follow-the-rythm game or a menu with dials is disappointing to read.
The game is about setting a pace, not following it. If you press fast, she will adjust to you. It's expected that you be awkward at first and take a while to get a tactile feel for it. That's why the tutorial is your character's first time.
Not knowing what you're doing at first -> getting an intuitive feel for it, as opposed to getting it intellectually -> gradually gaining confidence. That's the experience I want to convey. It's harder to pull off, but I'd rather do a flawed job of that than settle for the nominal gameplay common of the genre.
False alarms can happen with GameMaker games. Unfortunetly, the 100% fix would be paying to get the exe verified, which is not viable in this case : /
Uploading to itch via Butler seemed to fix it for some builds but apparently not all.

The tutorial should take a couple of minutes max, so I've clearly not made it clear enough for everyone to get it. Tank you for the feedback.
I recomend the Commissions launcer, since that has the automatic "watch" mode available from the start, where you choose speed and actions in a menu style,
In this version you have to clear the skill based game of an act to unlock the watch version.
If you try again: The disconect seems to come from you trying to react to the clap, you're just supposed to press in rhythm to the animation, like a Rhythm Heaven game.
Hi. The game is not finished, I call this a demo because it is restricted to the early game, I feel calling it an alpha or early access would imply that it features the full game, just in an unfinished state. Those terms would also make it seem like the full game will be in this page later, which unfortunately will not be possible as long as itch doesn't allow any monetization on NSFW games.
The Patreon gets updates a while before I post them to Itch, but it doesnt have an early access game or anything.
Sorry if the naming is confusing. Let me know if you think there are terms I could include to avoid this confusion.
Hi, glad you like it. Yeah, I'm trying to bring deeper gameplay than is usual for the genre.
Yeah, unfortunetly games can get false positives from antiviruses when they are not sent to a verification firm to be placed on a "safe list". Thankfully these are rare, because there is no way I could pay for that for every demo/early access release.
