Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback — this was extremely helpful.
You’re absolutely right about the puzzle clarity. Several clues currently suggest solutions without properly supporting or closing them off, which can easily lead to frustration. I'm fixing this so every hinted path either works or clearly tells the player “not yet”.
The dialogue length and lack of distinct character voices is also a fair point. I'm tightening lines and giving each character a clearer tone.
The UI issues you mentioned (command reset, inconsistent feedback, incomplete credits) are real bugs and high priority for us.
Your note about feeling overwhelmed — especially in the pub scene — was particularly useful. I'm adjusting early pacing to make the game easier to read.
Thanks again for taking the time to write this. I'm glad you felt the project was worth engaging with, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the next build.
This is an early beta demo, and I’d really appreciate any feedback.
I’m especially interested in:
-
puzzle clarity (what felt logical / illogical)
-
dialogue tone and humor (Note: The English text is currently AI-assisted and may be refined based on feedback.)
-
navigation and UI clarity
-
bugs or soft-locks
Feel free to be honest — this is exactly the phase where feedback helps the most.
Thanks for playing!
I’m currently developing a classic point-and-click adventure game inspired by Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island.
These were my favorite games growing up, and creating something in this spirit has been a long-time dream of mine.
Thanks for popochiu ;)
