Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it =) I hear you about the damage, I definitely struggled balancing the swarm. If I keep working on it, I'll definitely tweak it to make it more balanced!

Thanks for playing! I agree! I had a bit of trouble balancing the swarm or thinking of ways to make it more worth staying inside/going back into the swarm

Hey thanks for playing and for the feedback! I hear you about the movement, I actually just updated that on my local build haha. I agree definitely needs more minigames. In regards to risk, I actually struggled with this and realized it would be a problem towards the end of the jam... I'm not even sure I particularly like the rat swarm concept. In retrospect, I have some new ideas that I think could've made for more fun risk mechanics.

Thanks for playing the game and for the feedback! By timer, are you referring to when the rat swarm appears... tbh I'm not sure how much I like the swarm, towards the end of the jam I started getting other ideas for risk mechanics but didn't have enough time to implement them. The coins were mostly just a hi-score mechanic, but I definitely could've made that more clear. If I keep working on the game after the jam, I'll definitely add more uses for them =) also, I love your profile pic

Glad you enjoyed it =)

Hey thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I totally hear you on the button mashing leeway, I wasn't actually sure how other rhythm games handle this. I probably should have played some... for science!

Yeahh I was having a bit of trouble thinking of art for the game. Looking at some of these other games though, I definitely could've added a bigger/more exciting background. Thanks for the feedback =) I'm glad you liked it

Glad you liked it!

Haha thanks! I'm glad you liked it

Thanks!

Thank you! Glad you found it to be fun. I totally agree. Music/art are not my best, but I'm trying to get better haha

Yeah totally, I was struggling to make it happen in a way that wasn't too challenging/hard on the player. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it. Totally hear you on audio and graphic indicators! Thank you for the feedback

This game is amazing, I really appreciate how polished it is and I'm impressed at how much you were able to accomplish. The post processing effect is really cool, I had to turn it off because it was hurting my eyes but I definitely enjoyed the vibe.

I really enjoyed how quirky and creative this game is, the dialogue and sound effects made me laugh for sure. Great job!

I really liked the mechanics in this game and could see the potential in it. It definitely has a simple but fun game loop and I think that gives it so much room to go in different directions. Nice job!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I couldn't figure out a good way to balance that mechanic, it is quite punishing to deposit all your leaves leaving you vulnerable

Wow! I'm glad you enjoyed it and were able to beat it haha. Thanks so much for the feedback, I did notice that dynamic starting to unfurl in the game design but wasn't sure how to balance it properly.

I'm glad you liked it =) yeah that is the mechanic, I couldn't figure out a good way to balance it or make it not as punishing and figured maybe the challenge or the balancing act would be okay. But it does seem to be a theme in the comments

Thanks for checking it out! I'm glad you liked it. Kind of both. I've been experimenting with Godot and game dev here and there, but haven't actually made any "complete" games. I found the game jam was incredibly helpful in getting me to actually think about an achievable MVP in a reasonable amount of time.
