I will remove it. Originally the game was to be released on c64 but image conversion was to complex so it never made it. The tag was from the belief that it would be released.

It can be most probably be released on C64 without images and some tweaks due to database limitations.

Game is now updated! Thank you for reporting this. This error did not exist before 014_05, so cudos!

Ok I did a speedrun to test and you are correct.

An updated version will be released on Sunday. Strange that his happens...

Huh. I will try to replicate this. But it has never happened to me.

SPOILERS ‐------

The question is...

Do you have the key? It is hidden in the swamp.

More spoilers

Coooooool.

How did you manage to get the net? I mean, what interaction did you do to make the saurians leave the hut? I think that is one of the most "difficult" things to figure out due to it being a parser.

Oh yeah the pyramid :) There is of course a way to enter it. But you need an object to get the "door" open.

Yeah I like the Personality system as well :) it is not super developed but enough to make the game interesting. The goal was to try to get the RPG feeling of course, and people tend to dump the personality, hence making it worth having in this game.

If you want to see a change in the game, get captured at the ritual, then get help to end it, and then try getting back to the village.

Amazing!

SPOLIERS

I assume the ritual has ended? Tjere was a bug in one version where the swamp was accessible before ending the ritual. Did they capture you or did you manage to end it before? If you get captured the game changes a tiny bit 😁

Finding the correct command is the worst part about parsers 😅 I tried keeping it simple and logical.

But you managed to catch a frog! That one was a tricky puzzle for some friends playing. Can I ask how you got into the hut?

Looking forward to hearing more about your progress!

Thank you for finding the solution to the Disc Error bug! I hope you have enjoyed the game and would love to hear how it goes :)

Thank you thank you! I hope you had time to finish it :)

I have tested it on PFS and you are correct.

we also found that if you mount a PC drive via WinUAE and play the game from there it works, even though the Hard file is PFS.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Let me know how the game went :) There are several ways to complete some of the tasks so it would be fun to hear how you solved things.

The ritual is the solution. Look around, search things there. Perhaps you can find something of value.

Thank you for providing the feedback!

It has been confirmed that the file system PFS causes the disc error. FFS works just fine however.

It has been reported to Uto, the engine developer, and they are looking into it. A new interpreter/compiler is in the works that hopefully solves this.

What is the model/speed/size etc of the CF card?

We got it working on wb3.1 real hardware without issues so that wb version is not the culprit.

It does get Disc Error every time on a 32GB CF card with the AGS3.0 image on it.

3 KB is correct.

OK so I tested this now on two versions of Workbench.
WB 3.0 runs it just fine.
WB 3.1 gets the DISC ERROR.

I am in contact with the developer of DAAD Ready, and we are trying to sort it out.

The ADF version works just fine so you can mount that one, or copy it to a floppy.

I did some of the artwork, but a friend did most. We both fiddled with the palette to find a nice thing. Some parts are photos/stock art/free assets that has been pixelated down.

Hi!

I've gotten this error once as well on my A1200, OS 3.0 but I do not know why and I have not been able to replicate it. I will try again tomorrow to see if I can replicate the issue.

Try these two things:

1) "Show all" in the Drawer and run the COG014_05 file directly (ignoring the game icon to run)

2) Would you be able to "re-install" the game on a different location? Unzip it on the PC and copy the HDD folder somewhere, and then run via the ICON.

If either works, let me know and I might have a better idea what is causing it.

That is awesome to hear!

Depending on when you downloaded this, if you want to play on amiga, pehaps download again. It was updated today due to a script pointing to the wrong file in the Amiga HDD version.

I am sorry for the inconvenience

You still never answered the "why are you so hostile in your opening messages". And why do you say that people refuse? I would really like to know the answers to these to simple questions.

(1 edit)

I also noticed you start lots of comments on other projects with this hostility.

Frankly I find it a bit disturbing  and not at all in the Amiga community spirit.

Claiming that people "refuse" to upload? I think you are misunderstanding what refuse means.

Hi and thank you for your comment. Let's start with the statement "why do you refuse to upload..."

Why do you bring this hostility? And what do you mean refuse :D I did not even think about that being an option. No one has suggested it and I did not think of it, so I never activly refused.

I would say that this page works just fine for amiga users, and it is a place where people can donate to the project. I want to track downloads and interactions, so it will not be uploaded to Aminet in the near future.

You coming on this hard does not make me want to upload it more.

Woho! Cool 😁 thank you for posting the news about it.

That is awesome to hear! Thank you so much

The sounds are the small music snippets here and there. There are three different that play at key points of the game. It is both on Amiga and HTML.

Perhaps i should update the info to make it more clear. Thank you for asking!
