Pretty fun and creative game! Love the art and the style of game you chose. If you are to work more on the game later on, a bug I found is that even after defeating an enemy, they can sometimes still deal damage to you. other than that though it ran very nicely! Great job!

That would be awesome! Either way it came out pretty great! Looking forward to seeing potential updates or resubmissions of the game!

I will keep that in mind next time I work with the mouse aiming. Thanks for the feedback!

That was a cool game concept! You always see games of dungeons where you eventually die, but never ones where you face off against your deaths. Gotta say, fighting against your previous op self got hard and challenging, I liked it! Nice job!

Cool idea for a puzzle game. Took me a bit to beat it and understand what tiles the buildings could be placed on, but afterwards it went more smoothly. For some of the symbols, I would suggest making them more visual, maybe a different color and clearer picture? Otherwise, pretty solid game!

Gotta say, I did not expect the bosses to become the next players, this was executed very well! I didn't pick up on any bugs which is awesome, and I had fun playing the game! Well done man!

This is brilliant! everything was nicely done and made me feel like I was the reason my favorite animes begun haha! Only thing I would suggest if you are to continue working on the game would be maybe adding a map to see the layout of the city to make your plans. Other than that there were only a few audio bugs like the truck engine cutting out that I noticed, which is impressive for the short amount of time available for making the game. Overall nice job!!

Thank you! I think I'll implement the enemy health idea if I decide to update the game in the future, that would definitely make it more challenging. I probably won't make them invincible though, sense they have a small chance of dropping the coin, but nonetheless, thanks for the feedback as it is greatly appreciated!

Yeah I'm pretty new to game development. Fixing the next level button was on the to do list but I ran out of time and the will to stay up later than 3 am on the night of the deadline, so I didn't get to it. Thanks though for the kind words and suggestions!

This was fun! If you plan to work on it a bit more, you should add music, that way you can start to vibe while playing. Overall though nice job!

I like the idea you have going here. As to be expected there are some bugs in the game, but with some fixing up, this could be a pretty fun game. Nice job!

I like the idea to be able to purchase upgrades and having healing items on the floor in each level. Very cool game, nice job!

Very cool game! The audio, graphics, and animation made this extra enjoyable on top of smashing things. Well done!

This is a pretty cool concept and loved the twist you put in on the journey back to add extra pace to the game! It fits the concept and was visually appealing which I love! Very well done!

I enjoyed the vine swinging mechanic a lot, especially after figuring out how fast I could start to swing on them. And those vines that can snap were sure to catch me of guard!

Critiques:

Took a little getting used to the controls, only issue I had with them is pressing down shift off and on quickly can get tricky sometimes, but after a few attempts you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the critiques! I would've added a few more obstacles but ran short on time figuring a lot of the other mechanics. I'll be sure to take the input though into my next project! I will be sure to check out your game
