You're welcome!

Hi! Thanks for buying QotBG!

Good questions.

Most things work just like they do in Band of Blades, unless there's a specific rule stating otherwise or an exception. So Load is handled like it is in core, with the exception noted on page 12 under Replacement Gear. Note, this means literally "used up" or "broken" -- this is a fictional call. Was the item lost, destroyed, or ruined by use? It's gone until replaced (or repaired). Otherwise you still have it and its box "resets" for the next mission.

If the item is used up, make an Acquire Assets check to replace it, as noted, and use the result to determine the outcome. A good result or better replaces all your "missing" gear (since these are personal actions, it only replaces YOUR gear, not the whole squad's). Remember you can boost this roll using Supply.

You start with everything listed on your sheet. You are not limited to what you choose for load/utility on the first mission and can pick any Load or Utility item on your sheet that you haven't crossed out ("used up") during a mission.

So, for example, unless the narrative describes your armor being destroyed by an attack, you still have it next mission and can choose it again even if you checked it off (so it's the same as in the core rules: many things can be used for their mechanical effect without being lost/destroyed/used up).

However, if the fiction describes your armor as ruined/destroyed, cross it out, you can't. Did you use up all your bullets? All gone. Otherwise you have them. (I don't know how much book-keeping you want to do here, so how you handle "I only used up some of them" is up to the group.)

Hope that helps!

Thank you! I would be fine with a translation if you do so (I could upload the files here, too, if you like), but I honestly wouldn't go through the effort of a translation (or at least the rules text) right now: I'm still incorporating feedback from playtest and clarifying the written rules, because there are some holes that need patching.

I had not seen it, so I'm really glad you checked-in! (Looks like it was buried in a bunch of spam.) Thank you for the feedback. I will work on clarifying those issues for the document. Very helpful!

Have a great New Year!

Yes! Please use my itch.io username at yahoo. It's the email I check more often than not. You can also tag me here to let me know if you're worried I didn't receive your message and I'll check my spam folder.

Awesome. Look forward to it!

Don't worry, I haven't abandoned this project. I should have some time over winter break to work on this a little!

(If you get a chance to play what's here, I'd love to hear how it went!)

Have had a bit of time here and there to get a couple others worked on: Grave Robber and Leper have been added, plus a blank playbook by request.

Done! I've also added the Leper and Grave Robber playbooks.

Thanks! I'm currently in uni and doing research, so I'm afraid I haven't made much progress on this due to lack of time. Seeing as there is interest, I'll look into making another update soon!

Updated to include a "Payoff & Heat" card as requested!
Also two "Complication Questions" cards, and a few blanks.

An update would be appreciated, or beta files for those of us who have given money for this, or some kind of response or indication you haven't just walked away with supporters' money?

Good suggestion! I'll see how I can make that work.

Text-wise, I haven't had a chance to play test it significantly since last year. I do have a few more playbooks finished, however. I'll try to get those up while I have time this summer!
