This update marks an important step forward in Project Aiga’s development as a solo indie visual novel focused on immersive investigation and player choice. PV1.1 introduces several new features and improvements based directly on player feedback:

• Dynamic facial expressions for Elias – to enhance emotional connection during interrogations.
• New hint box – track all collected evidence conveniently in one place for easier reference during gameplay.
• Expanded options menu – new settings to mute background music and switch between windowed, borderless, and fullscreen modes.
• Cheat code system integrated – the foundation for fun, player-triggered secrets, with the first codes to be revealed soon in socials.

Step into the shadows of Seaview, 2025. In Cold Case Interrogation, you take on the role of a freelance investigator unraveling a dark mystery from 1995—a murder cover-up silenced by a retired police chief. Armed with new evidence and your wits in a tense video call interrogation, your words hold the power to expose the truth or let dangerous secrets slip away.

This noir-inspired visual novel prototype breaks traditional storytelling boundaries. With no preset dialogue options, you type your own questions, navigating a web of lies, deflections, and hidden guilt brought to life by the Gemini AI API. Every choice shapes the investigation in real time, creating an authentic dialogue experience driven by nuanced motives and emotional triggers.
