Wow, really tight boss fight! You've got something really expandable to work with here, really awesome!

The models, music, and movement are all great! I like the levels with huge straightaways that allowed for huge buildups of speed! Very satisfying!

Loved the music! Knowing that the models were actually physically sculpted definitely makes this slicker!

The slimes are adorable and definitely slick! I love the merging mechanic, too. If this had hit the App Store in 2015, you'd be rich right now.

Slick grappling hooks and gramophones! I love the idea of someone recording their adventure log on pressed vinyl :D

OH YEAH

OH YEAH

OH YEAH...

C'MON NOW

Really thoughtful mechanics throughout each level! I also appreciate how quickly you reset me after each failed attempt haha. I had a blast learning each level to get my dives down.

...Except for the bubble-spike-torture-hallway on Shi's level. I'll never forgive you for making a bubble-spike-torture-hallway. And before you say anything, it's totally different from my bubble-flame-torture-hallway!

A really creative take on time trial platforming! The idea of constraining player movement to such a concise set of moves is really great!

Slick, indeed! Sliding around and blasting away felt really good and the simple, clean aesthetic reminds me of old XBLA games :) Really well done!

Love the sprites and various attacks! The trippy Earthbound acid-trip going on was a nice little treat, too! Can I formally petition to ban that little yellow bastard from the premises?

Looks and feels like I'm 5 years old playing my babysitter's SNES. I'm just as bad now as I was then, so thanks for humbling me.
You guys absolutely nailed the aesthetic and theme! If only you hadn't cheated by added Fluppy as your sixth team member... It's a shame you'll have to be disqualified.

This is going to be used to train the next generation of poultry-management AI. I hope you can accept that responsibility.

I always knew it would be a bunny who'd take down the devil...
Awesome game! Reminds me of Bioprototype, which is one of my all-time favorite Survivor games! I love the flexibility of the weapon system. This could easily be adapted out into a full game!! Great work!!!!

Really cool! This already has a solid, fun game loop! Really well done!

I think we're kindred spirits. I love the effort put into things like the respawn animation and title screen. The movement was very novel and definitely fit the theme!

Some say kettle cat is still battling the COMMODOR3 to this day...

Very fun arcade shooter experience! Great job!

I did my best to put the rock in the house, but I'll never be the skipper at this rate :(
Super original! I'm really glad I got to see this one!

That's one slippery little swine. An excellent reward for vanquishing the hydra!

Great movement! I'd love to actually see some levels built out for this!

Generated hundreds of candies for my family by betting on purple, stole by devil-brother's soul, and then got called a loser by my entire family for failing to predict which droplet would win.
You're right. It's just like my childhood!

could talk about the gameplay, but... the story is clearly a metaphor for class struggle within developing nations. I think you've got a Pulitzer coming your way.
Also, I thought the goblins actually took the olive oil at first and was thrilled. It just feels right that goblins would thirst for the oil.

The Q is absolutely slick. Awesome core mechanic! And that sword model is sick as hellll

Slick music, slick concept, and slick sparkles on the pompadour and glasses. You're so sliiiick!!!!

love the visual design here! The title theme is excellent, as well. Excellent presentation!

Awesome work! All of the levels felt nicely designed, it was easy to pick up, and the movement mechanics felt slick. I could see an expanded version of this game being super addicting, trying to S-rank every level!

Excellent submission! Sliding your way out of town while the coppers chase you is super tense! And the rush of seeing a big fish in an unsuspecting penguin's pocket...

Of course, the winning game of this jam isn't gonna be Penguin Pickpocket. No, it's gonna be SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 2 BABYYYYYY

I may not be able to make it past the tire swing, but that doesn't mean I'm not a gamer.
Love the concept, absolutely 100% certified slick.

Love the adaptive music to match the game! The grappling reminds me a bit of Speedrunners! I found it tricky to switch between modes while going fast - I just want to be slick the whole time!

Totally unrealistic. Beeg Dunkey has been sold out for years!

Excellent art and interface! Playing games within a virtual desktop will never not be cool. I wish I had some more control over how my hands played out, though.

Adorable pixel art! I want to take that lil guy home, but I think it would void my insurance. I agree with one of the previous comments that the music makes me want to go FAST, so I'd love to maintain my momentum and just dash dash dash throughout the level!

Heh heh, don't mind me, officer. I'm just wandering around with my 837 vapes.

I was under 100% suspicion when I had done nothing wrong.
I was under 0% suspicion when I pushed a shiny red button and blew everything up.
Is this poetry?

I love free-form character customization like this! Brings me back to Amazing Island on the GameCube. Now I want to see them battle >:)

Cool game! I love blasting some green-skinned baddies in a dank cave. Also, those string rises in the battle music remind me of the 2000s :)

I licked more cat brains today than ever before in my life, and that's saying something.

Super original! Great illustrations, too!

Thanks for checking it out! FTL was the first thing that came to mind when I heard power! Throw in a lil enviro-bear and that's pretty much what I was aiming for :D

That was one of the bugs I found after submission :'( I had to refactor the entire location/fake-3D system on the last day and forgot to flip a sign for mob patrols... That meant that the mobs would establish a home base and then immediately just... float directly away from it. Oops. Another bug made Grabbers immortal, though, so... probably best that you didn't find one anyway.

If you want to check it out, I have a version with fewer bugs linked on the game page. Not for the jam, of course, but it includes the final two quests that you get after killing a grabber, plus a happy ending :)
