That was cool! I really like the main mechanic of the 2 worlds, and the puzzle design is also cool! I found 1 bug though, which is if you tap the rewind button after you fall into lava or spikes or anything that damages you, it will make it no longer damage you so you can basically walk across lava and spikes. Thought I should mention that, but overall very cool!

This game is good! I especially like the music. It was also surprisingly challenging. I think I only have 2 main criticisms, which is that it feels unintuitive that you are softlocked when if you kill the last enemy with the red alien, and that the process of moving the crown back to the queen at the end also feels unnecessary, since theres no challenge. Other than that, great job!

I really liked it a lot! However there was some ,anomaly that I kept getting which I still don't know what it was. The room looked perfectly normal and so I didn't flip the lever and I was reset anyways. I then started marking all the ones I thought looked normal as wrong and I got reset then as well. Other than that, great game, the idea, execution, and presentation were all great!

The use of sound is so effective, wow. It reminded me of the gameplay in little nightmares. I didn't understand exactly how to hide, whether it was to get out of line of sight or to not move, but I actually think that is one of the strengths of this game, it added a level of fear of not knowing exactly how to avoid it so I just tried to be safe with everything, making it extra tense when it felt like I just squeaked by. Also the art is fantastic, I love the style. Great work!

Its our first game jam too! Plus we have a partially 2D art style (2D characters on pre-rendered 3D backgrounds), check it out if you want: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805

Not really a goal to the game, there's an infinite world which you explore and there are aliens that you talk to, each one randomized from a selection of facial features. Most of the alien art is drawn by hand!

Also I rated your game, it was great!

Here's a chill infinite exploration simulator with randomly generated everything: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805

There was a time when I got a white moon with both a teddy bear and a horror game, so it wasn't clear whether it was A1 or A2 so I had to guess and got it wrong. Other than that scenario happening, its really cool and I love the concept. Nice job!

Really interesting mechanic! It does just boil down to tetris when you first start but when you really start going for those grand sized rooms thats when it gets interesting. I also really like the interpretation of the theme. Great job!

One of the best games in this jam i've played so far! I love the little places and the abstractness. It reminds me of Windowsill somehow and Monument Valley. Great job!

I love the idea and the execution is very well done. My only real complaint is that the game is more zoomed out than its meant to be when in fullscreen. The black screen transition doesn't take up the whole screen. But other than that technical issue, its really great! Nice job!

Pretty cool! I liked the art especially. The gameplay got repetitive sometimes though, I feel like maps with more segmented layouts where your troops are far apart from the start would make it a bit more interesting. I liked how the different troops were balanced, each having their own strengths.

It definitely does!

Unfortunately the parts that look like clay weren't actual clay, just 3D render made to look like clay (we didn't have enough time to make it real during the game jam unfortunately). However the drawings of the aliens are hand drawn on paper and the paper that they are cut out from is real pictures of paper!

Nice job! Art was very cool, and it was pretty fun!

Very interesting idea! I think the balls were a bit small to click sometimes but still pretty cool.

Everything about this was awesome! The music, art, sound design, dialogue, and gameplay were all great! It might be a little too easy to get not enough ingredients, but still I was very engaged the whole time! Great job!

I like the idea, although I didn't really know what the different grid combinations changed. I never really found myself having to be very creative with the placements. But I still its cool, it could just use some adjustments.

Very creative and cool mechanics! I never fully understood how to move through the map but I appreciate it being unconventional. I like how the spells are done, reminds me of the skate series

Heres our game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805

Theres no goal, but everything gets randomly generated so its just about chill exploring

Nice! I have some criticisms like the text being hard to read or the movement being somewhat awkward, but overall it was very impressive for a jam game!

I have no complaints for this game. It was satisfying, visuals were great, everything was very creative, the music was great, the gameplay mechanics were cool and interesting, and generally just very enjoyable. Awesome!

I didn't know what I was supposed to do, which is a shame because this says that there is a dialogue system but I just accidentally fell out of the world.

here you go: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805, if you could rate and ideally leave some comment that would be appreciated but no pressure

Very fun idea and great art! I like it a lot and is a great interpretation of the theme.

That's cool, yeah we can totally keep in contact however you'd like to! I'm also curious to see the projects that  you are talking about.

Thank you so much! We will most likely update it after the game jam with some new stuff, and we might also use your suggestions! We had plans to have interplanetary relationships, other things in space like asteroids and debris, and also trading resources, but we ran out of time. I really like your suggestions of space pirates and rogue planets, so if we update the game you maybe could expect to see those + new randomization possibilities, personality types, and dialogue.

Also loved your game too, I think I already left a review but it had great vibes and the fake desktop felt very natural in a really cool way.

One of the most creative submissions ive seen so far. The tic tac toe solution was very clever, and I love the silly off brand stuff. I also like the detail of strange place being on the Landlord Monopolists board.

Only thing I think is that the connection to the theme strange places is very vague, but its still great

Very good idea and execution for a rhythm game. My only issue is that the notes dont go to the music and that a lot of the obstacles feel unavoidable. But otherwise great job!

here’s a chill game with no goal just exploration and talking to randomized aliens: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312805, i rated yours, this is a randomly generated chill exploration game with no goal

Cool style, but I will say that the camera and colors make it more difficult to see anything than anything else

Very nice puzzle design

You say "its quite bad" but I can see the care put into everything here, like the clues, the art, and the music. The art was really good especially. I also appreciate the literal red herring. Great work!

This is underrated! The art is great and the music is too! My only complaint is that the moving platforms take a very long time to come back, especially after you die. But thats basically it for my complaints, great work!

The animations have a lot of personality, especially the jump. The game is cool and its very satisfying to throw packages. Nice!

You dont want to know

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it! There are 2 personality types of hostile and passive, so I guess you just got unlucky.

Also very cool that you had no problems on your phone considering we didn't test or plan for that at all, but it works out!

Thank you! You can befriend aliens by getting your relationship number up which lets you fast travel back to their planet at any time, but theres not really anything else to do then talk and check out the randomized planets aliens. Thanks for playing and glad you liked it!

This is REALLY good, polished, and fun. But the connection to the theme is very loose.

Awesome! Very ambitious for a game jam, and it came out great. Was a little confusing (which isnt that big of a problem), but the vibes and storytelling were great
